hello everyone! my name is michelle (35) and i am from southern california. dh (39) and i started ttc'ing in november of 2005. it took us five cyles to get pregnant. 18 weeks into my pregnancy our baby boy pj was diagnosed with down syndrome and av canal defect of the heart. he was born without complication by ceaserean section on november 23, 2006. he spent 10 days in the nicu for feeding issues, but was otherwise healthy. the first six months of his life were spent keeping his body free of infection and his heart stable to prepare him for open heart surgery. he had his surgery on june 7, 2007. to our surprise another surgery was required less than a week later. he has recovered remarkably and continues to grow stronger with each passing day.

Hey I just saw that you posted on mine. I am mostly on Facebook all the time. We are almost through with the foster care process. Hopefully we will be parents by Halloween time. Who knows. So the newest update for me is that I am on cd:6 and the 4th day of injections. I go tommorrow for a follie scan. The weekend was crappy since I had a headache all weekend and didn't want to take any chances with taking pain meds. along with the injections. So I suffered until last night when I called the answering service for my RE and asked if I could take like tylenol(sp). I did feel a bit foolish when the doctor said of course you can take that but not motrin. So I was relieved to be able to take that. Thanks for the comment on my page.

Ok I am a huge bum and a horrible friend. I have tons to update you on. I have lost my job at the Disney Store they decided to close the store at the mall I worked at. Apparently they did not resign the lease for the spot they were in. Some of us figured it was because of a possible raise in rent prices. My last day was this past Thursday. I bawled my eyes out. I loved that job. I made so many wonderful friends. It was something to look forward to every day, even though the pay sucked big time. I haven't started to look for a new job, mainly because we are going to do another round of IUI. In fact that is to start some time this week. I have been uped on my dosage. So hopefully that will help us tremdously. Not looking forward to having to have shots twice a day but hey if it gets me a baby I will do it.I broke my elbow back in Jan. while I was roller skating with our youth group. It was the first time around the rink and I fell. I tried to catch myself and because of that I broke my elbow pretty good. I am undergoing PT right now and I hate it.In other news my mom started dialsis. So we are busy helping get her to and from there three days a week. She has gotten a new hold on life and is happy about that. As she should be since she will be a GREAT Grandma come Sept.  Yep you read that right our 21 year old neice is pregnant. Which really sent me through the roof since we have been trying for 3 years now. What can I do though. I did loan her my books I had. I have offered her my extra walker I have, an extra babybath tub, extra highchair and bouncy seat. None of which of course is good enough for her since she wants all brand new exspensive stuff. For me it just seems very odd to become a great aunt at the age of 28. My dh will finally have his associates degree in May. We are very excited about him being finished with that. He is considering taking the rest of his classes online so we can get out of Michigan. After my job loss it is now something we just feel we have to do. We are terrified of what could happen next. Dh could lose his job, or we could lose the house we live in. My best friend lost her house to repo. So the sooner we can get out the better is our opinion. Well I better go for now. How is my little man doing? Did you guys have a good Christmas? Did PJ get lots of toys. I hope so he needs lots of toys. I want to see new pictures of the little man. I am sure he is growing like a weed. I will have to get some new pictures up of snow that we took. As well as some other pictures we have taken. I hope all is well for you.
