We love to ride dirt bikes and go 4 wheelin/rock crawling! My husbands family owns a cattle ranch that we enjoy working on as well. We are very active and looking forward to teaching our future children to enjoy life!

DH (31)and I (39) live in Northern CA. We were married in May 2005 in a beautiful ranch setting here locally. We have been ttc #1 for 27 cycles!

I had an HSG all b/w in Jan 2008 and everything was normal. My husband also had a basic s/a and also came back normal. So, we tried 4 clomid/IUI cycles during the summer of 2008, all BFN.

Finally, in Aug 08 we decided to do IVF. Mostly due to my age. I interviewed several clinics and found a fabulous one about 2.5 hours away (there is nothing closer). Part of their protocol required me to get a saline ultrasound and my husband had to get a s/a done using the Kreuger method, which is more strict.

The saline u/s found 2 uterine polyps that I recently had removed via hysteroscopy and we found out DH a low morphology, due to the seasonal heat he works in. Since then his morph has improved (he is out of the heat for now and I highly recommend Fertility Blend for men!). I am currently taking DHEA (prescribed by my RE) & Omega 3's for egg quality, doing Acupuncture all in preparation for our first IVF cycle in Jan 2009. I will start Lupron on Jan 7th and will be taking Gonal-F & Menopur.

We have 2 fur babies Annie & Rowdy. They are border collies and love to work on the family's cattle ranch! We are so ready for this journey to move forward. We have worked hard to keep our eyes on the goal and not the day to day stresses infertility can bring into a marriage. So far, so good!!
