Thanks for your comment on my blog. :) We're really happy that our insurance covers the 3 IUIs, but it actually covers about 1/3 of the actual costs of doing the whole thing (better than nothing though!) It's looking like our next IUI will be next Saturday, and it seems like you might have your BFP by then?? Can't wait to see our!!
Thanks so much for your encouragement - it really helps, especially on AF days! I'm so excited for you and your dw this month - I am sending you tons of babydust. By the way, what are Follistim and Ovidrel for? I wonder if we should be talking to our RE about them?
haha yes, Grayer, is an awesome name! Which is why it's on my list!! hehe. I don't go see the doc until late next week. He wont see me any earlier. Sending you loads of babydust!!!!
My RE put me on Clomid (50mg, CD 2-6) for my IUI cycle this month, which seemed to work really well. As for OPKs... I'm not sure if you already have a favorite brand, but I absolutely LOVE the Clearblue Easy Digital OPK (the one with the smiley face). It is soooooooo much easier than worrying about the two lines!! I'm so excited for you! Are you having your sperm shipped to you, or do you live close to one to pick it up? We had to have ours shipped to us, and it was always a bit stressful waiting for it, wondering if we'd gotten the timing right. But if you know your cycles, then you should have an easier time getting the timing right. For the first two cycles at home, we used 2 ICI vials, then on the third cycle we used 3 vials. I'm sending you tons of babydust!!!
Hi! My wife and I have been together for over 5 years and got married in Toronto in July '06 (though we live in CT). We did our first IUI this cycle and we're now 8 dpiui (soon to be 9, if I can ever get to bed!) We tried 3 cycles of ICI at home with frozen donor sperm, but I think our timing was a bit off. I'm now on Clomid and working with an RE's office that I trust, which is nice. I wish you and your dw sooooooooo much baby dust and good luck!! Keep us posted!
