I've been doing research and have decided to try herbs. Chaste tree berry/vitex and false unicorn root. Have you tried either?

Sounds promising!  Heartburn and dizziness was a big one for me.  I'm doing well.  A bit queazy, but okay.  I still have to wait 2 more weeks for my first doctor's appointment!  Just another tww, I guess . Good luck with yours!!!

I have endometriosis... so my doc said my pelvic area doesn't function as well as a normal persons... so my chances with IUI are less than someone without endo. I have a friend who did 4 IUI's with the clomid then the shots and got prego on her 4th or 5th IUI.... she had ovulation issues though. I never realized how bad endo could be until I read up on it. Since my surgery in May I haven't had pain during my period until this month. I called the nurse and she said it could just be a bad cycle and to keep an eye out for the next 2 months because it could be that the endo is coming back. IVF is supposed to work better for woman with endo but we really just can't afford that right now. 12-15k a pop... I just have to believe God will do it on his own. Also, when we did the 6 months of hardcore fertility treatment I was at a VERY stressful job. I was so stressed it was unreal. Software company that was growing and had HORRIBLE management. I am now at a new company since the week after thanksgiving. Even my doc told me that stress play a huge role in getting pregnant. I am not stressed now so hopefully it will happen.....

clomid is supposed to help people who do not ovulate... so i thought that was all it was for. Well... I ovulate every month like clockwork. but they still put me on clomid first. It basically helps to create more eggs so my chances were higher every month. It varies for different people though. The most follicles I had was 4 on clomid 150 but one of my friends took it and she had 8! and like 6 or 7 were matured..... so it varies. She doesn't ovulate and it helped her ovulate..... My husbands aunt is a nurse for an obgyn and she said they have patients all the time get prego the first or second cycle of clomid! Clomid is cheaper and way easier than shots so I think that is why they always start off with it. Less chance for multiples too. I believe it is only a 5-8 % chance for mulitples with clomid. Mulitples being twins. Now when you get to the fsh shots your chances go up to 30% for multiples. but hopefully you wont get that far and if you do you honestly won't give a damn if you have twins or triplets! You are just so damn ready to have a baby it doesnt matter! hehehehe! I was major parinoid about drinking that is why for 2 years I only drank for the 1st 2 days of my period and rarely did that. But like I said... I should cut back cause I would feel SO GUILTY if I did end up pregnant and then know I had drank.....

I hear ya about "not the shape  you were going for!" I gained so much weight with all the fertility stuff but I am working out so much right now to work it off! But I was telling my mom the other day that my body has changed so much! I used to work out and I would seriously barely break a sweat.... now.... I sweat like a freakin man! I take Jazzercise and I am embarresed at how I look when I leave our 1 hr class. I am sopping wet! Hormones SUCK!!!! We are still on a ttc break. It gets easier everyday. I just want it to happen when we are not trying! That would be awesome! You would swear I was an alcoholic! I have been drinking so much lately. But.. I didn't drink barely at all for 2 years so I guess I am making up for lost time! My weakness is Italian Margaritas and wine..... Well... Shinerbock is a weakness too! I think after this next month I need to cut back on the alcohol intake just incase I end up prego....... but just enjoying life right now as much as I can!!!!! My neighbors who have 3 kids told us we just need one good drunken margarita night and that will get us prego... unfortunately we have had several of those and no luck yet!!!! HA!

It totally could be a thyroid issue. I have heard that if you have any thyroid issues getting prego is very difficult. and if you are having problems losing weight that could very well be it. I hope it is that easy! Get you on some meds to fix it and wham bam thank you mam you get prego!!!! How awesome would that be!!! And its totally possible :) Can't wait to hear the good news !

So glad to hear things are getting better. Thanks for the compliment on the pic! I was totally "hookered" up for the BLT NYE party! (blacktie lingerie toga party) I don't normally show that much clevage!!! NYE made 7 years for me and my dh. We met on NYE and have been together ever since! I am so glad you have  your doc. appt soon. I know it will give you such a peace of mind and you will atleast be headed in the right direction. 2008 is our year for sure! I am staying positive for both of us!!!!!!!!

exactly what i said to her!!! i was like how can you decide to keep your baby and then listen to their heart beating and NOT be excited?!?! she said she isnt excited at all! the same day i found out i was pregnant back in june (and wasnt trying then) i was excited the exact same day i was planning things!! lol i just dont see how someone can not care and not be excited!

 

it's very sad especially when there are women like us who want a baby more than anything in the world.
