Why hello there ladies. Thought I would update
this as soooo much has went on since i joined.
Me (23) and DF (28) ) we live together in the UK,
, had 2 MCs and eventually had a baby girl born at
27 +4 gestation.
We are now pregnant with number two, and hoping
for lil one to stay put for more than 6 months
this time!!!
Go and buy a First Response test, that's how I got my early BFP, the cheapo internet ones are still showing me a light line but my First Response one is as dark as anything! PLEASE go and buy a proper test and let me know the outcome. You can't rely on OPK tests ! ARGH I'm excited for you x
Morning, have you done any more tests? I am booked in at the docs on Tuesday, I'll be exactly 5 weeks by then and will hopefully get an early scan sorted out. YOur GP sounds like a bit of an odd bod, why mention going on the pill! Strange. Let me know if you take another test x
I'm from Grimsby in Lincolnshire. Where are you from? I really hope that faint line gets darker for you. I've done another test today and it's soooo dark I'm buzzing. It early days yet though and I'm trying not to get too excited because of my past miscarriages. I just know the days are going to drag and I'm off work sick with the flu which makes the day even longer! ARGH. You can rant about the NHS as much as you like to me. I recently made an official complaint about my fertility specialist and it's being investigated at the minute. And I work for the NHS in Mental Health so I know what a terrible place it is! Keep me updated on your testing situation won't you. What CD are you on?
Hi I'm also from the UK and have had 3 miscarriages in the last year but I got my BFP yesterday and believe this is the one. I hope that faint line you are seeing gets darker! Fingers crossed x
Thanks for the greeting! I'm glad there is someone else close to my age. I was looking for people that was close to my age, and your the closest i've found. I hope we get our andI'm sending loads of yourway!!
If you do have PCOS, the doctor might prescribe metformin 1500mg to you. I think it also really helped that I went to a doctor who's a specialist in recurrent miscarriages. Here in Norway, they are a bit conservative in giving medicines but I was able to get progesterone (in the form of a vaginal gel named Crinone) from him. I don't know if the progesterone really helped, but I am willing to admit it did. Keep us updated.. A big hug to you.
Just wanted to stop by and say thank you. Your comment about my cousin made me smile. I am so sorry that your cousins were removed and put into foster care. That is terrible. How sad that they wouldn't put them with family members. I hope that you will see them very soon. I also pray you get a sticky bean in the NEAR future! Your words mean alot to me. All my love~April
Hi there. I saw your entry here in tww. I'm sorry to hear about your miscarriages. I've had two m/cs, one last March, and one last June. I know how difficult and heartbreaking it feels. I'm pregnant again for the third time, and I am almost on my 15th week. So there is hope. I will pray for you, and for all women who have had miscarriages and fertility treatments. I hope that the third time's the charm for you, just like it was for me.
