MyHotComments.com I'm Summer, 21 years old and I live in Ohio with my husband, TJ who is 27 and his mom and dad. I met my husband in 2002 when I was 16 y/o and we got married on my 20th bday in 2006. We have been trying to conceive for about 2 yrs now. I don't have insurance so I cannot see any doctors at this point. I guess i'm just hoping for a miracle from God. I was diagnosed with PCOS when I was 14 yrs. old. The Dr. put me on birth control to help me have my period. When I met my husband, back in 2002 I stopped taking my bc. We were never really trying, but also not preventing, if you know what I mean. I haven't tried charting or checking my temps or anything because honestly, im not sure how. The year before last I had lost alot of weight and I had a period every month! For the first time in my life, I was having a regular period. I couldn't believe it. Unfortunately, I had to move in with my in-laws, which has caused alot of stress, depression, and laziness. I gained back all the weight plus more! So im trying to lose the weight again and im also drinking alot more water! I'm hoping I can meet some women in my same boat, who can help with any information about what other things I can do or maybe some things I shouldn't be doing. Please keep me in your prayers and send some babydust my way!!! Thanks... God Bless you and your families MyHotComments.com Daisy

I know its expensive but you can always make payments even if it is 5 or 10 bucks a month its better than nothing! I am really praying for you and that they can do something!!! Also let the doctor know and tell them if medicine is too expensive ask if they have samples thats what I do : ) When is your appt? I hope it goes well!!!!!!!

Hello : ) I'm not sure if there is anything natural you can take to induce your period. If I find anything I'll let you know : ) That would be good if you can get in that place maybe they have samples of provera you could take so you can get your period. I know I would be frustrated too! I'm getting frustrated because I have all week af symptoms but it is still not here. I'm getting cramps breaking out and headaches but when I go to check theres nothing! I took a test on Tuesday and it was bfn : (So just waiting for it arrive. Let me know how it goes if your able to get an appt. Ok ttyl!

Hello. Have you called the doctor to see if you can be prescribed provera to start your period. Because to go that long without one is not really good for your body plus it can add extra weight to you. I just had a period in November after not having one for 5 months but I think the reason mine was delayed was because I was on steroids for my colitis and one of the side effects is irregular periods before that I was pretty regular but I don't think I ovulated. I noticed when I cut down on sugary foods and stayed away from pop that helped too. I really hope you get yours soon so you can catch an eggie and good luck with the weight loss! I definitely am going to start in Jan!!! Ok well have to go ttyl!

Hi nice to meet you! Yes it stinks having pcos because really without medicine it can happen but for most women it takes a long time. I am not really tracking right now to see if I'm ovulating or not which more than likely I'm not. I was thinking if I start af this month I might try soy. A lot of people say when you don't ovulate it kind of works like the fertility med clomid. So I may do that. Thats awesome that you are trying to lose weight I know that can help you ovulate and drinking lots of water helps too. After the holidays I am definitely going to start. I weigh about 230 right now and would like to get down to 140. When is af due for you? There is soy also a lot of women said they took vitamin b everyday and I've seen some success with that. But if you try the soy you don't take it every day just on day 3 of your af through day 7 or days 5-9. Well good luck to you and lotsa baby dust!!!

you don't have to cut all of them out on the low GI diet, but soda definitely is something you should only have not very often, and only when you're eating other things with low GI's.  there are a couple sodas with low GIs I think....I'm not sure....check this website or look in one of Dr. Jennie Brand-Miller's books for the list of which foods have low/medium GIs! :o)

no its a herb and its called agnus castus you can get it from any health food store and it regulates af and makes cycles more regulated. i am finding it has made my temps alot more steady this time round

no, unfortunately a period can just be an overflow if you haven't had one in awhile.  and just bc you have a period every month doesn't mean you're o'ing either because it's not uncommon to have annovulatory cycles for anyone, and especially us girls with PCOS.  I started charting the same time I started the diet and found out i WAS o'ing (don't know if i was before then or not) and it was really exciting so I suggest it.  and once you see you are clearly o'ing on a chart, i'd say use the OPKs too.  even though they say "dont use if you have PCOS" on the box.....they worked for me!  and that's definitely what helped us with our timing when we conceived!  I WISH YOU SO MUCH LUCK and let me know how everything is going!!!!!!!!!!!
