My 4 kids, my new husband and reminding myself to relax and enjoy each day.

Scrapbooking, Chrocheting, Camping, Reading and Summer

All kinds, and I Love Keith Urban's music!

I'm remarried and my husband has a very low sperm count. Docs told us we would not be able to conceive on our own. So here starts are fertility journey. I have 4 great kids, but my eggs are getting old - so I'm hoping we can have one child together. 12/09We just did an IUI last week and now we are in the 2ww. 12/09 - well IUI was a bust. We are moving on to IVF 1/20/09 - We are 1/2 way into IVF cycle and I have about 20 eggs ranging in size from 12-17 :) We will wait a few more days to see how many can mature and then we will retrieve on the 24th or 26th of Jan. Praying for a BFP for Valentines day!! **** We got our BFP on 2/4/2010 a week before we expected it. Hurray! We are so excited! *** April 2010 - on bedrest at 12 weeks - augh. Not 100% sure why, but I have a shortening cervix and still spotting. I pray these babies willstay "baking" for another 20 weeks at least! **** May 2010 - So far this month the bleeding is less, but the worries are more. We got some scary news about both our babies at our last u/s. We are praying - please pray they are healthy. On a happy note - we have been blessed with twin girls - Hanna Lee and Shelby Rose.*********June 2010 - Hit the 20 week mark - woohoo - 4 weeks to first goal :) Had an ultrasound and babies are growing well, still have downs syndrome concerns, but I'm learning to deal with it and trying to stay positive. *******July 2010 -- 3 days from 28 week mark!! I can't believe it!! The girls are both about 2 pounds, I'm off work and SWOLLEN, but so happy to be so close to our goal. Doc says anything after 28 weeks is gravy with twins - so I'm hoping for about 7 weeks of GRAVY!!! :)Bleeding is still gone, lots of back pain and can't sleep - but its okay - its making our girls stronger and healthier. *** August 2010 -- almost 32 weeks - AMAZING! Lost of contractions and swelling, but the girls seem totally unaffected. We are less than 5 weeks from meeting our babies and I can't believe it! *** Sept *** WOW - we are now less then a few weeks away from delivering at 36 wks, 5 days - it seems surreal and great. I still worry and fret about their health, how our family will do and the changes that are coming - - but most of me just feels blessed. Please pray for our girls to be okay. Baby dust to all!!! ***** Sept 2010 ** Blessed to have our girls here and healthy! Life is busy - but wonderful

No problem thats what were all here for right...Well I'll be keeping a look out the next few days for your status updates...I'll tell you I have PCOS and Male factor against us and they told us my eggs were of poor quality on my first IVF and my second they told me that I didnt have a big % of success rate and to not get my hopes up...Well I got my BFP on that second cycle and even though I M/C I beleive it was because of other reasons (even my 2nd doc said it was)...Dont give up and I pray you get a few great eggies and get your BFP...I know its hard not to stress but try not to and just let things progress...Good luck!!

I can't even begin to imagine how stressful an ivf cycle is. I am stressed right now because I haven't o'd yet. I am on cd 16 and still no positive opk. I took clomid days 5-9 so I guess its making me o late. Hang in there girl! You are going to be pregnant very soon!

Thank you so much for your comments. They made me feel so much better. It's nice to know that there is someone out there who understands. Sometimes you just need to someone to say it's gonna be okay. ***babydust***

Thanks for the advice. The problem is that the hospital will just call my regular doctor, since our private hospitals don't have doctors on staff. And the doctors are all connected somehow... for instance the doctor who deliver my son will be doing my spinal for the c-section. They make me feel like a paranoid, hormonal idiot - *sigh*

The only comfort I have is that I'm already 27 weeks along, so if something does happen, at least the baby will have a good chance.

How exciting! Even though your doing IVF and I am doing Injct/IUI we are still cycle buddies and we'll be belly buddies! :-) My first ultrasound is tomm too! Keep us updated on egg size! I will be updating after each of my appts as well.

Thanks for the comment!! I am real careful with what I have been eating. No pasta, little potato, and I stay under 1200 calories a day!!

Thanks for the comment (and encouraging words) on my blog. I know, deep down, we'll all be fine - but I'm suffering from 'mommy-won't-let-go' syndrome... lol... I'm betting he'll learn to love it though, just as you said!

Good luck with the IVF, btw!
