I'm remarried and my husband has a very low sperm count. Docs told us we would not be able to conceive on our own. So here starts are fertility journey. I have 4 great kids, but my eggs are getting old - so I'm hoping we can have one child together. 12/09We just did an IUI last week and now we are in the 2ww. 12/09 - well IUI was a bust. We are moving on to IVF 1/20/09 - We are 1/2 way into IVF cycle and I have about 20 eggs ranging in size from 12-17 :) We will wait a few more days to see how many can mature and then we will retrieve on the 24th or 26th of Jan. Praying for a BFP for Valentines day!! **** We got our BFP on 2/4/2010 a week before we expected it. Hurray! We are so excited! *** April 2010 - on bedrest at 12 weeks - augh. Not 100% sure why, but I have a shortening cervix and still spotting. I pray these babies willstay "baking" for another 20 weeks at least! **** May 2010 - So far this month the bleeding is less, but the worries are more. We got some scary news about both our babies at our last u/s. We are praying - please pray they are healthy. On a happy note - we have been blessed with twin girls - Hanna Lee and Shelby Rose.*********June 2010 - Hit the 20 week mark - woohoo - 4 weeks to first goal :) Had an ultrasound and babies are growing well, still have downs syndrome concerns, but I'm learning to deal with it and trying to stay positive. *******July 2010 -- 3 days from 28 week mark!! I can't believe it!! The girls are both about 2 pounds, I'm off work and SWOLLEN, but so happy to be so close to our goal. Doc says anything after 28 weeks is gravy with twins - so I'm hoping for about 7 weeks of GRAVY!!! :)Bleeding is still gone, lots of back pain and can't sleep - but its okay - its making our girls stronger and healthier. *** August 2010 -- almost 32 weeks - AMAZING! Lost of contractions and swelling, but the girls seem totally unaffected. We are less than 5 weeks from meeting our babies and I can't believe it! *** Sept *** WOW - we are now less then a few weeks away from delivering at 36 wks, 5 days - it seems surreal and great. I still worry and fret about their health, how our family will do and the changes that are coming - - but most of me just feels blessed. Please pray for our girls to be okay. Baby dust to all!!! ***** Sept 2010 ** Blessed to have our girls here and healthy! Life is busy - but wonderful

06/18/2010 15:18:50 LOL- You are right! It's amazing what we will do. You know what's amazing to me? That some people just get pregnant and don't have to do this stuff. I can't even imagine. Oh well, someone has to do it, right? Seems like you are still doing well. Hopefully you are keeping off of your feet as much as you can. I was just thinking that you need a twin ticker. go to Lilypie! They have twin ones :)

06/10/2010 13:38:11 Hey.. I have PCOS so irregular periods are normal for me, but I did take Clomid 100mg at the beginning of this cycle on March 22.. So I dont know when or if I ovulated.. I am going to have my progesterone checked tonight bc it will tell me if I am pre-ovulation, post-ovulation, or early pregnancy.. So we shall see. xoxo to you and the twins :]

06/09/2010 09:09:04 I LOVED Shamma....I had Ayers first and he was ok but wasnt very good at details and telling you things...Hes the one who told me I would NEVER get pregnant unless I used IVF and that even then I should use DOnor eggs...Well of course I wanted a second oppinion and we talked to Shamma which I loved...He told me Ayers was crazy to tell me that and told me we'd get started right away on a new cycle and he was very convincing and caring....I couldnt wait to work with him when of course we got laid off and couldnt anymore :(...I cant wait to go back to him hopefully if we can get our insurance back!! OH and sooooooooo glad to hear a success storie from someone I was about to use also...Congrats on the little girls and keep posting as your story inspires me all the time!!

06/03/2010 08:21:31 Thanks! I am so excited and nervous. My next Beta is next Tuesday and if all goes well then our U/S will be the 22nd. I feel totally normally but a little extra bloated after I eat and a little nauseaus if I don't eat as soon as I am hungrey. This is amazing. I have never been pregnant so knowing that I am but not feeling different is so scary. How are you doing? Still on bedrest?

05/26/2010 09:15:40 Hey girl! No, no new betas yet! They just wanted to get the two to make sure they were rising! I'm starting to feel more pregnant today. I'm SO exhausted, I feel a little dizzy (maybe from feeling so tired) and was super nauseous for about an hour before I just sat down to eat lunch, and I'm sooooooooooo bloated! I keep wondering, is this b/c of the pregnancy or have I been eating too much!? ha! I have not had ANY kind of pink discharge since that one incident so I'm feeling better about that! How is bedrest going? I can't imagine!!!!! I'm such a busy body that I think I would go nuts laying in bed all day, but it's SO worth it!!!! You'll be wishing you could lay back down once your little girls are here! :-)

05/23/2010 20:59:34 Hey girl thanks! We are doing 1 ml a day. I also am wearing 2 estrogen patches that are changed every two days. I dont have any symptoms so far. I think I could probably test tuesday or wednesday. I'm also trying not to symptom stalk as much this time. I'm just so afraid to be let down again. Thanks for teh advice! I hope you are doing great!@
