I'm remarried and my husband has a very low sperm count. Docs told us we would not be able to conceive on our own. So here starts are fertility journey. I have 4 great kids, but my eggs are getting old - so I'm hoping we can have one child together. 12/09We just did an IUI last week and now we are in the 2ww. 12/09 - well IUI was a bust. We are moving on to IVF 1/20/09 - We are 1/2 way into IVF cycle and I have about 20 eggs ranging in size from 12-17 :) We will wait a few more days to see how many can mature and then we will retrieve on the 24th or 26th of Jan. Praying for a BFP for Valentines day!! **** We got our BFP on 2/4/2010 a week before we expected it. Hurray! We are so excited! *** April 2010 - on bedrest at 12 weeks - augh. Not 100% sure why, but I have a shortening cervix and still spotting. I pray these babies willstay "baking" for another 20 weeks at least! **** May 2010 - So far this month the bleeding is less, but the worries are more. We got some scary news about both our babies at our last u/s. We are praying - please pray they are healthy. On a happy note - we have been blessed with twin girls - Hanna Lee and Shelby Rose.*********June 2010 - Hit the 20 week mark - woohoo - 4 weeks to first goal :) Had an ultrasound and babies are growing well, still have downs syndrome concerns, but I'm learning to deal with it and trying to stay positive. *******July 2010 -- 3 days from 28 week mark!! I can't believe it!! The girls are both about 2 pounds, I'm off work and SWOLLEN, but so happy to be so close to our goal. Doc says anything after 28 weeks is gravy with twins - so I'm hoping for about 7 weeks of GRAVY!!! :)Bleeding is still gone, lots of back pain and can't sleep - but its okay - its making our girls stronger and healthier. *** August 2010 -- almost 32 weeks - AMAZING! Lost of contractions and swelling, but the girls seem totally unaffected. We are less than 5 weeks from meeting our babies and I can't believe it! *** Sept *** WOW - we are now less then a few weeks away from delivering at 36 wks, 5 days - it seems surreal and great. I still worry and fret about their health, how our family will do and the changes that are coming - - but most of me just feels blessed. Please pray for our girls to be okay. Baby dust to all!!! ***** Sept 2010 ** Blessed to have our girls here and healthy! Life is busy - but wonderful

I hate this..all these meds just kinda get old after a while and wear ya down..im sure you know that! But thanks again..oh and one quick ? you said that cramping is normal..well im 3dp3dt..i have had cramping on and off..but more soo (tmi) did your uterus kinda ache too..sorry..but i wasnt in alot of pain after retreval and just wondered if you went through it too..sorry..hope you dont mind me asking..thanks again..hope your bedrest passes quick! :)

03/25/2010 08:55:54 I had a 10,000 trigger on the 10th. Then, a double IUI, the 11th and 12th. So I am technically about 13DPIUI. I had a second HCG to assist with a possible pregnancy on the 17th and that was 5,000. So I am now about 8 days past the second hcg shot. I am not supposed to test for another week though. The odd thing is that yesterday morning and this morning when I tested they both came out BARELY even with a second line. However when I test at night after school, the tests are seeming to get a little darker. So for instance if you look at all the tests in a row from the past 4 evenings, they are getting progressively a little darker. But then the ringer is that the two in the morning are barely there. So I get really dissapointed in the a.m and really elated in the P.M. I think I'm just driving myself crazy! I think I should probably stop testing at least until Saturday and see what happens! My doc told me not to even test on the 30th because it could still give me a false positive! However, I expected af yesterday and I have no signs of her showing! yay!!! i'm on such a roller coaster ! ahhhhh

I totally snapped at someone today who might have just been joking around and being sarcastic and I just snapped back at them, which is unlike me! haha oh well, maybe that is a good sign !!! :-)

03/17/2010 08:55:29 5 day transfer is great! I hope I get that far but as for now I am still just doing my first round of shots...My friend is pregnant and has been bleeding and clotting the whole time and her baby is fine. I think its just a scary thing but can be normal. Good Lucks hunny!
