We adore going out to dinner and events with friends, going to concerts and LSU Football Games, Season Ticket Holder for the New Orleans Saints, concerts, we are always on the go, love going to the beach, traveling to new locations, shopping is an addiction which is being tamed by my DH.

Reading, writing, taking pictures, cooking, traveling and throwing/hosting parties.

I love Cowboy Mouth and then so much more...Sting and his time wtih The Police, The Beatles (love them), Jack Johnson, all the 80s hits, Madonna, Maroon 5, Matchbox 20, Norah Jones, Alternatives of the 90s, Train, Steve Miller Band, Classic Rock of the 70s, Beaches Soundtrack, and ok so I like pretty much everything. If its got lyrics and a good beat I am singing along.

ABOUT ME

We met (by two very great friends)this was it our first meeting, we feel head over heels. We bought our house six months later, two months later we got our puppy

On the anniversary of our very first date he proposed, we were married five months later

Let's see we love reading together in bed while toes touching. I adore shopping, cooking, hosting parties and reality TV. I work in the mortgage industry and am under alot of stress most days, even when the market is slow. He works in a corporate office for a Resturant Chain and is out of town alot! We were recently married on 05/24/2008 and we are each other's very best friend. We have a puppy (he's almost 4) his name is Sammy and he is treated very much like a spoiled child. Our first month TTC (06/2008). I used an OPK test this month. It is also my first month off of YAZ which I was on for the past two years. And I have been on Prenatal Vitamins for two months. So here's to hoping! I am new to TTC and I need all the help and points I can get...send em my way!

07/18/2008 13:26:44 Okay…so I think I have some very useful information for all of us confused newbies! I kept finding on different sites to check out Toni Weschler’s “Taking Charge of Your Fertility” 10^th edition. So I finally decided to go and buy it yesterday and man, should’ve done that a looong time ago! I couldn’t put it down and was up reading until 2am!!! It was incredible!!! Answered seriously probably EVERY question I’ve seen posted here!! This is the only thing I’ve read thus far that’s calmed me down about this whole journey and actually given me confidence about getting pregnant!! I HIGHLY recommend you go and pick it up if you haven’t already. I had no problem finding it at my local Border’s bookstore and it was WELL worth the $20. I had previously been doing all my research online and piecing together bits and pieces to educate myself. Big mistake because literally, this book handles the whole thing. Charting, CM…all of it (including colored pictures believe it or not). Sooo….I know a lot of us have expressed being totally confused and some of us are already worried there could be an issue….this book put all that to rest for me and I really think everyone should check it out!! You’ll feel a lot better, trust me!

I went off bcp in the beginning of May and this will be my first cycle using OPK's, temping and preseed. I read you've used the OPK's before...any good?? As for temping...it's totally confusing to me too!! I tried FF (FertilityFriend.com) and that was a mess. I just don't understand it!!! If you try it and are able to figure it out...PLEEEAASEE fill me in too!! I start using the OPK's tomorrow and hopefully I'll get a positive one day this week. Although some women have said they never got a positive??? So nerve wrecking and I totally know how you feel in regards to everything being so new.....stinks!!! And it's a lot to take on. Okey dokes...well keep in touch and maybe we'll get our BFP's together!!!!
