Playing music, black tea with milk and honey (trying to do decaf, but it's not the same!!!), a glass of nice port at the end of the day (again, this isn't the most fun thing about TTC), cats and dogs, spending time with friends

Hiking, Walking, Drawing, Painting, Reading

Pretty much anything. I love classical music (hence, my job) but when I'm stressed out, I love to listen to Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon album. I like the Shins and Fountains of Wayne. I love Classic Rock. Bluegrass is also fun, and old-school alternative like Jane's Addiction and the Cure. Also, old crooners like Dean Martin, Tony Bennett, Nat "King" Cole are awesome. There's really nothing I don't like.

Just found out we're pregnant!!!!! Things we did this cycle: -Both of us took Fertilaid (for men and women), but when I O'ed, I switched to Prenatal vitamins -Evening Primrose Oil from CD 1 to O -Also, Preseed -No caffeine or alcohol for me -exercise and healthy diet -prayer. Why I tested early: -the only real sign I had that this cycle was promising was a really beautiful chart. For the first time, I was absolutely positive that I had ovulated. Then, when it went triphasic and stayed there, I got pretty excited. Preg symptoms: -Triphasic chart -slight dizziness/lightheadedness -minor abdominal cramps. Hope that helps someone!! ***UPDATE**** We saw a heartbeat today!!!

On the black tea note - Twinings do a lovely decaf black tea that ALMOST tastes the same... Not sure if you can get it your neck of the woods, but its worth a look?

I know!!!!  Thanks for the comment.  I wish I had known a while ago...no more ibuprofen for me.  I had an L5 S1 discectomy which is now, of course, a degenerative disc.  Only hurts reallly bad every once in a while but Advil has saved me.  I'll tough it out from now on for sure!  I was suppossed to O this weekend and took 600 mg Saturday morning (before I read all that stuff) because I woke up with a wicked backache...still haven't O'D!!!! After 9 months of no luck, maybe this will do it.  Good luck to you!

Hi, its very possible it could be affecting your ovulation which is affecting your cycles. I know I learn something new everyday it seems too, I spent 10 months of TTC and taking Ibuprofen and can't help but wonder if now it was all wasted time! Good luck

Just posting because I saw your response about the Ibuprofen. I have been taking it since 2006 for back pain and continued taking it after my surgery. I was taking 500 mg as much as I needed daily for back pain, my doctor didn't tell me a thing! I stopped taking it and I'm ovulating regularly now but I'm also on Clomid so who knows what it has to do with. But definitely be careful, I only take it during AF now and just have to suck up the pain the rest of the month

My DH is a very selfish and a times cruel man.  What I am guessing is that he's been cheating for a while and I was just too stupid to figure it out.  I'm going to be 33 years old and not a Mommy!  I'm going to get some counseling but not with him.  I hope I deserve better than him.  I'm still really sad that I didn't get the BFP!  I would have been a good mommy even if I had to do it alone.  TON'S OF BABY DUST AND LOVE TO YOU AND YOUR DH!

Hi and

Wemanage to split the vacations in two and went to the Costa Brava (Girona) and then to Barcelona they are like 2 hours away from each other so we booked two different hotels, the are part of Catalunia aswell which means that they speak Catalán, they also speak spanish but they prefer to be called Catalans, we had a fantastic time, this is our second trip to Spain in january we went to Alicante.

Hope you get your BFP very soon. Good Luck

Ana
