Hello,I have two children. I've been married to my husband for 13 years and we have one 12 year old son and a baby boy who was born August 1, 2010. I'm a teacher and work with young children with developmental disabilities. Within in the past four years I've had one miscarriage and one preterm birth (a baby girl). I practiced Shettles Gender Selection method for four months before receiving my last BFP, and hoped for a girl. I am doing alright. I think this one is going to last :) I go in on Monday for my first prenatal! I am so excited! I hope we can hear the heartbeat then. I will be anywhere from 9-11 weeks.

I know the peace with it will come.  It is quite a shock when you first hear it.  When I found out 2nd daughter was a girl, i layed there and cried during my ultrasound.  My best friend was there with me and she said "You will still love her Kim", and I knew that I would. It was just such a shock.  But now, I wouldn't go back and do it any differently if I could.   It will just take a little time to make the adjustment in your head. Hang in there!!  God bless you!!

hey!  how are you doing?  Did you confirm the sex of the baby?  I see on top it says you are having a boy but the last blog you had they thought girl.  I go for my gender scan and level 2 u/s on monday.  I cant believe its almost here.  how are you feeling?  I didnt feel well this week.  my stomach was bothering me and Im having some round ligament pains.  hope you are well!
