Hi. My name is Jen and my wonderful husband of two years and I have decided to start trying for a baby. We have two wonderful fur babies Stanley and Otie and are hoping to give them a little brother or sister to protect. So far it has been a very interesting experience TTC. Just got a BFP at 14 DPO and a blood test confirmation the following morning!!! I am praying for this to be a healthy pregnancy!!

Quote: "I get really nauseous if I don't eat.  Especially in the mornings and can't seem to get through brushing my teeth without gagging...but so far have not even come close to throwing up!  I am sooo glad because I hate throwing up!"

That is soooo me right now! Wow, it is amazing how universal some elements of pregnancy are. When ever the baby is hungry, I know it because I feel sick. And the AM's are the worst! Aaah, the stomach/hunger pangs!!LOL

By the time I get up DH is gone and I have to stoop over that stove with all my strength! He tries to leave cooked oatmeal for me, God bless him, but the baby don't want any funky oatmeal! LOL Gimme eggs, toast & guacamole! LOL

Hi Jen.  I live just north of Dayton.  Congrats on your BFP!!

Hey! Thanks for the comment, they didnt tell me to be on bed rest, but they really want me to take it easy! I had my first at 37 weeks, so I guess Im kinda a risk for preterm, but the contractions are still there, so I try and relax as much as I possibly can having a 22 month old and all :) So how is your pregnancy going? Are you hoping for a boy or a girl? Well I hope that you are feeling well and no morning sickness!

How are you feeling? Is your bump noticeable yet?

I don't know if they're doing an ultrasound tomorrow or not.  I hope so, but if not, I can make do with some good results on the blood tests.  That at least will give me something to look forward to over the next 3 weeks.  I am trying to take it in small bits: make it to the first appointment, get to the first ultrasound, make it past the first trimester and then hopefully it's all smooth sailing from there.

In other pregnancy news, I had to make an emergency stop at the grocery store for an apple to settle the nausea today.  I was making the hour and a half trip to my sister's house and got hit with a major case of the barfies.  At least nothing came up!!!  Have you got morning sickness yet?

Oh, I am so glad to see that I am not the only pregnant woman feeling herself up!!  I do the same thing, the soreness comes and goes so then there I am, driving down the freeway or walking around in a store squeezing my breasts together with my arms and then giving them a little prod, just to make sure!  Still sore, still pregnant!!  I can't wait for my appointment on Monday!  Hope you are well!

You're welcome. I look forward to your update! Take care of yourself and baby...but of, course you will!

You're welcome!  I am interested in what your doctor tells you at your appointment, will you keep me informed, please?  I am glad I was able to help answer your question, and I have also heard that it could be round ligament pain, but that RLP usually only happens in the 2nd trimester.  But, then again, every woman is different, and I know that there are exceptions to the rules...which you and I probably are!!  Anyway, keep me updated, ok?  Good luck at the doctor!
