I am 25 years old, and have been married since November 2006, to my wonderful husband, Steve who is 28. We live in a little town about 40 minutes west of Indianapolis and just started TTC #1 in December of 2007. I work as an x-ray tech in my hometown hospital, and also work as a Prenatal Fitness Instructor. Between the two jobs, I'm gone for a good 12-14 hours some days, but at least I'm keeping busy. We've got two dogs, otherwise known as our kids, Lady and Pepper. They're good at keeping us busy and on our toes!
As long as I can remember, I've always wanted babies. I am the youngest of all the grandchildren (youngest by 8 years), and my cousins started having babies when I was around 10. I became an aunt for the first time when I was 15, and now have 2 beautiful nieces, 9 and 7, and 2 handsome nephews, 4 and 1. I love them all dearly, but my sister, brother-in-law and her family (including my 2 nieces and one nephew) live in South Carolina and my brother and sister-in-law who have my youngest nephew live down in Florida. I know the love that I have for my nieces and nephews tops any other love I've known, so I can't imagine what it'll be like to love a baby of my own.

Hey, thanks for dropping by  I'mfine, thanks.  I wanted to go into hibernation mode till 12 DPO. But with no one else to cook, I had to stick around and watch the day pass by slowly. No significant symptom to report but hopes are still up nonetheless. Your progesterone level is not that low, and hopefully clomid will bring it up in just one cycle. Good luck this cycle *baby dust*

Hey. Things have been going well. Been so busy with other things that I haven't had a chance to think baby for the first time in ages - thats probably a good thing. I have had some good feelings about this cycle but trying to keep my mind off it, to keep myself sane. Will test this weekend.

I'm glad you got some answers about your cycles. Good luck for you next month!

It's so strange to pray that AF shows up for you soon. (haha) I have a good feeling about this cycle and your Clomid. How many days until AF is supposed to show up? 7 like your ticker says? I don't go by anyone's tickers anymore, since my last two cycles have been nuts. haha

I'll be sure to read your blog thanks for the update sweetie.  Sorry you're not ovulating thou.  Clomid helps alot of women get PG.

Which brand of OPK are you using? I tried the cheapies from early-preg-test.com and I never had a true +, then I bought the Answer brand and had blazing + more than once a month (I think my cysts are back). I've seen other girls post that only a certain brand shows a true + for them, and usually it's Answer.  And I've seen girls who don't get a dark +, but O with a lighter +. So, I think there is still a chance you could have O'd. You should try temping, too! I am soooooo obsessed! And I'm feeling more confident. It was nice to know AF was on her way before it happened. I can't wait to see those cross hairs to confirm I O'd!! I'm only on CD3 and cannot wait to be in the 2WW again!

 Goodluck, and keep me updated!!

OH YEAH and also--if you're O'ing very late and have a short LP, (and i"m no doc here so this is JMHO) Clomid wouldn't really help all that much.  You would need a progesterone supplement to prolong your LP enough for an eggie to implant.  HOwever, depending on how late it is--there have been studies that show an egg released after CD20 isn't as easily fertilized so maybe it would help with that--just not the LP thing.  but I'm sure you know all this already so I will stop babbling!!  sorry!! GL!!

Hi Friend! Hope things went well last week...I was thinking and praying for you and your family. I think calling your Ob is a good idea! Better to get it all figured out then keep getting frustrated with your OPK's. And it sure is frustrating!! This month has been weird for me. I'm not sure we got out timing right...at all. But there's always next month! Monday the 24th is our first anniversary. I'd love to surprise Dave with a BFP. I'm trying to think positive, but we shall see.

Keep me posted on what your Doctor says! I'm praying you! Lots and lots of babydust!

Thanks for your thoughts. My ob put me on clomid because I had super long cycles. OPK were comming up on day 26! And having 40-60 day cycles. I started on 50 MG. I am now with an RE because I did not think the OB was following my cycle as close as she could. Also depressing going to the OB office where everyone is pregnant! So I am not on 150 MG (the highest they give) I missed one IUI cycle because the OPK did not come up even though the ultrasounds saw the ovulation! So I am now not a fan of OPK and my RE said that they do not work for everyone. I am a nurse on the labor and deliver floor  That is why I do not temp because my hours at work are so crazy. Like you my sleep pattern is not regular enough, I dont think.

Just dropping by to say hello! Babydust to you

03/15/2008 11:25:48

Hey sweetie! I hope you're doing ok.

AF showed up this morning, but I'm completely ok with it! It means I'm back to my regular cycles, and I know this month is going to be it! She is welcome no longer!!

How are you feeling? Any symptoms?

03/12/2008 09:27:56
I hope you all have a safe trip! I still don't have any symptoms. I started temping yesterday and thought that my temp would rise or fall today.... it stayed exactly the same...  Iknow it's only day two, but c'mon!! Oh well, can't wait to wake up tomorrow!! Good luck hun! It'll be good to have you back in a couple days!
