im wanting to do my midwifery training after my nursing too!! Weve been trying since septermer 2006 thats when i came off the pill so nearly 18months, we only went to see the consultant yesterday but untill my hycosy we will deffinately still keep trying, we must not give up hope eh?x

my doctor wouldnt prescribe it to me, and sent me to the hospital for more investigations, ive had an ultra sound to look at my ovaries which showed pcos and ive got an appointment so they can look at my tubes with the dye on the 25th july!! its so far away grrr.The consultant i went to see was really good though he doesnt agree with the age limit and is going to fight our case for us which is really nice of him but if it doesnt work we will self fund, its £140 a time but that includes all the scans and everything to make sure you havnt produced too many eggs,but still i dont think we should have to pay!It annoys me so much how other people can decide your fate and decide whether you should have a child or not at this age,we are just as stable as anybody else, we have our own house,2cars im in my 3rd year of nursing training and my other half is a full time mechanic,i just wish we didnt have to go through all this,it makes it worse that all my friends are now having babies,none of them being planned!!!sorry to rant on hehe xx

hi just saw that you are in a similar situation to me.Hope you dont mind me asking but did you manage to get funding on the nhs for clomid or did you self fund?
