I love books, love reading, the outdoors,
nature and people. My husband and I have been
married for almost 5 years now...
My TTC journey so far:
***2007-2009***
Since we got married in 2006, I've never
really been on the pill (mayb once or twice but I
had a bad reaction to diff types). So we thought
we'd see what happens. I have however been having
increasingly painful periods since I was 19.It
bothered me, but my focus was on my studies (so I
didn't have much money) and other issues I was
dealing with so I thought I would just suck it up.
When we struggled getting pregnant and the pain
got so bad I couldn't walk I seeked some medical
help. I've been up and down to various doctors and
was finally diagnosed with PCOS (and the doctors
suspect endometriosis).
One doctor gave me Metformin (1500mg) but it
made me so sick, so after a while of not trying
I'm using Vitex (500mg), Multi-vitamins, Fish oil
and cinnamon. I'm also using a herbal mixture to
help with the severe menstrual pain I've had.
I'm also adjusting to a low-GI diet and
exercising more often.
***October2009***
-Break from TTC
-Stopped using vitex because my periods
dissapeared for a few months. Periods ok now.
***May2010***
-Diagnosed with hypertension bp stayed at
150/110 for a while :o on meds now, trying to
relax and stick to eating healthy and exercising.
They thought something was wrong with my kidneys
as well, but tests show kidneys are working fine.
***June2010***
-I went to a new gynae 10 June, she ordered
blood tests to check my hormone levels so I'll get
my results and they're going to do an internal
ultrasound on the 30 June 2010. I'll be put on a
list for a laparoscopy to check what's causing all
the pain.

I pray that God would bless us with our
miracle baby and I'll keep all of you in my
prayers as we walk this journey together...
**hugs**
