I work full-time as an LPN Supervisor on the 11-7 shift.

I'm not married but I have been with the same man for 2 1/2 yrs. We don't have a conventional relationship but we do what works for us and we're happy as can be that way.

I've been TTC #1 for about 2 yrs. now, or broken down, it has been about a year of not preventing and a year of trying, with the past 6 months spent REALLY trying hard. My DP has 2 children from a previous relationship.

My partner often (jokingly) calls me a tree-hugging hippie. I don't wear tie-dye or anything and I'm guilty of not always recycling but I do have long hair, a free spirit, I believe in karma, and I love nature. I see the beauty in simple things, such as the way flowers dance in the breeze, or the way the raindrops ricochet in a puddle.

My dream is to go on to become an RN and eventually work in OB. I have always loved being around babies and I've had plenty of practice with them, as I'm the oldest in a large family and have taken care of siblings and cousins over the years, and now I help take care of my sister's baby. I love my niece like she's my own but of course, it's not the same as having my own, which I still long for.
