Hi Sherry - How did the doctor's appointment go yesterday?  I hope you've found a doc who is willing to speed the process... :)  We're on a "practice" cycle of Clomid, but it's day 16 of my cycle and no ovulation yet, so I'm going for a blood test tomorrow to see what's up.  Maybe a higher dosage of Clomid's in order?  Who knows... (at least I didn't have the side-effects, though maybe at 100mg I will!)  Hee hee - I'll tell my wife to watch out! :)  Good luck to you both, and I hope you get good news from the new doctor and that you're happy with her/him.  Our last interaction with the medical system was *not* positive - we had to meet with a psychologist (as I'm told all couples who want to do IUI have to do) who was REALLY misinformed about some really important stuff (she was convinced that both of us couldn't be on the birth certificate, but we actually CAN in our state).  Wow, I'm long-winded.  Is that a side-effect of Clomid??  Babydust!

We're on a break at the moment (soooo hard!) but wanted to check in and say hello.  Our new fertility doctor has suggested I start Clomid, but we're crunching the numbers to see if we can afford IUI this March or whether we need to wait until the summer.  We're crossing our fingers that insurance will cover some of it... Anyway, sending you good baby-making wishes...  :) Cara

 Thought I would drop you an line and let you know that we are pregnant!  Melissa's second IUI worked for her like a charm.  Whew!  No, crazy IVF in the new year!

 Hope you are both doing well.  Keep us posted.

Hey girls!

 I'm soo sorry to hear that you aren't going to be doing this cycle...however, I completely understand!   Somedays I have to sit back and think about how much more we are going to spend on TTC.  So far we have spent just under $8000.00 (and we didn't even do an IVF!!!). 

Melissa had her IUI yesterday and the Dr. says that things look really good but we will get the IVF protocol in a week or so...just incase.  I was telling him that I was afraid that I wouldn't be able to sustain a pregnancy because I'm spotting all the time (all 28 days) and i'm not on meds.  So, he suggested that we do an IVF like planned (2 embrios in me) but also, put one possibly two in Melissa as well.  Could be VERY interesting!  However, we have to wait to see how this IUI goes and then we will cross that bridge when it gets there.

 I'm thinking about you both and wishing you success possibly next cycle?!  Hang in there ladies!
