Your eating habits and the sex of your baby!!

Postby Katiiz95 » Mon Feb 16, 2009 8:26 am

So I read in my WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN EXPECTING book that they have found a link to pregnant women who eat more and the sex of there babies. They say women who tend to eat more tend to have boys. What do you guys think..

I crave things like salad and chicken while pg with my girls. With my boys, solid junk food. Donuts, ice cream, chocolate.

I have eaten like crazy throughout my whole pregnancy, especially the first trimester and I am having a girl. I have craved mostly things like fruit and milk, more sweet then salty.

That's funny, I hadn't heard that. I have gained like 40 pounds already this pregnancy, I'm hungry ALL the time.... starting literally in the TWW before I even found out I was pregnant I couldn't stop eating. And I'm having a boy, so who knows!

For the most part though none of the gender myths have been accurate for me. Every test I took said I was having a girl.

I am eating a truly OUTRAGEOUS amount of food - far more than before I was pregnant - and I am indeed having a boy.

I have also not gained weight proportional to the amount of extra I am eating. I guarantee I'm blowing away that "300 extra calories a day" thing by a lot. And I'm gaining at the lower end of normal (14 pounds at nearly 26 weeks).

And - my cravings are all for fat and salt. Not interested in sweet things at all. But that is not super unusual for me, either - craving sweet things would be a huge change, but this is just a continuation of my normal cravings.

I love food more then any other time in my life!! lol!!! I am having a boy.... I love it all! Sweet, salty, sour, spicy... I am surprised I haven't gained more weight then I have so far! With my first pregnancy, I didn't like food this much.

I basically have to force myself to eat. I've had no real cravings and a couple of food aversions and I'm having a boy :)

I have been hungry all the time...but really unable to eat very much most of the time.

I have gained a lot less this time (so far) than I did with both my boys. I'm up 20 lbs. so far with this one and gained about 40-45 with each of my boys.

I'm having a girl this time!

With my first- DD - I LOVED food- I couldn't get enough on it- and I packed on a good 30 lbs... but I wasn't too thin to begin with that time.

This time I was at a normal- healthy weight... and I have HG- so I have to force myself to eat... but even when I'm not pukey, my appetite isn't crazy... and it's a girl again!
