Christmas traditions you do for your kids

Postby shadypersephone » Wed Dec 24, 2014 12:46 pm

I was just wondering what people do to bring the magic of Santa into their homes for their children. I remember my mom and dad doing SO many things, but the one thing that really sticks out in my mind happened when I was starting to not believe. We put out cookies, milk, and carrots with the greens still attached (for the reindeer) on Christmas Eve. I noticed that the carrots were missing in the morning and we couldn't find them. Dad built a fire and was out getting more firewood when he called for my sister and I to come and look at what he had found. He had thrown the "eaten" carrots with greens on the roof. It totally made a believer out of me for the day.
