I thought you ladies could help me figure something out. It will be another 4 weeks or so before I see a doctor.

I have been actively eating healthier and exercising at least 2-3 times a week at the gym since January 10th. I was doing less intensity work outs (walk away the pounds) and eating healthier for a few months before that. I lost 10 lbs during the lower intensity months and then 13 more since joining the gym. Since I have gotten my BFP 3 days ago I have continued with my healthy eating and portion control and exercising. I am still losing weight. I don't know what I need to be doing. I feel completely full and truthfully feel like I will vomit if I try to eat anymore and my exercise consists of doing about 10 lbs for my bicep and triceps and finish with interval training for 20 minutes on the tread mill, the peak speed at 4 mph for around 1.5 minutes 4 times throughout the 20 minute jog. I am eating a balanced diet. Like yesterday I had oatmeal for breakfast, orange and yogurt cup for snacks throughout the day, taco salad for lunch, chicken salad for dinner and a handful of nuts for a snack on the evening. I am still in an overweight category so I guess the combination of clean eating and exercise is having me lose even if I feel full.... just thought you all may have some advice :) thanks!

Keep it up. It's normal to lose weight in the 1st tri, just don't TRY to lose weight. All those healthy habits you have developed are just great!

I second that - don't try to lose weight but if the pounds happen to come off, great. Give it some time though as you may need to take it easier as your pregnancy progresses and make sure you are checking in with your doctor. Mine said to make sure I can always carry on a conversation when exercising which wasn't a problem until the last week or so (I'll be 18 weeks tomorrow) and suddenly I find myself short of breath if I'm not careful (and THAT is bad for baby).

U/s 3: Measuring behind again but looks great - sucks her left thumb just like I did!

U/s 4: All caught up - again! We have a little yogi :)

Awesome! So you don't think I should try to force more food down? I thought I could watch my weight and if I keep losing at a certain point I can go from there... I used to push myself at the gym and done a lot more lifting and the elliptical, but thought I'd stick to the simpler routine I said in my first post so I'm not doing too much intensity. I do get out of breath during those 4 peaks at 4 mph, but they only last approximately 1.5 min. each.

I believe you need to keep your heart rate under 140 bpm. Getting out of breath is not good, especially later since baby isn't getting oxygen either. Don't worry about how little or what you may be eating now. Try to eat healthy, but once that nausea sets in, just try to snack on bland foods. An empty tummy can cause more nausea.

The "average" pregnant woman only needs about 100 extra calories per day during the first trimester. Just focus on eating healthfully while you can! Morning sickness may interfere in a few weeks. My doc told me to make sure I was taking my prenatal and to try eating as healthfully as my tummy would allow (which was basically fruit, bread, chicken breast, and pickles.... It was a strange few months!). I gained 5 lbs or so through week 17 and my doc wasn't concerned and said most gain or even loss evens out during 2nd trimester!

So - just relax mama!!!
