Hey fairy... I'm 30 weeks with # 4. This time I did have a hematoma I thought for sure at 6 weeks I was having another miscarriage because of the amount of bleeding. But I went to the dr had my ultrasound and saw a hematoma. Went back at 8 weeks and got a heartbeat. I actually bled from 6 to almost 8 weeks. I do ultrasound for a living and I've heard that a hematoma can actually be a good sign meaning the embryo is embedded well into the uterus. Best of luck glad to hear it didn't show up this time.

mamacoss, I'm so glad to hear that everything was ok with your pregnancy despite your bleed early one. Its good to hear a bit of insider information that it can actually be a good thing. It must be cool going in for your ultrasounds and knowing exactly what you're looking at! :D

I was diagnosed with one at 7 weeks, spent a week on bedrest, then pelvic rest until an US at 16 weeks showed it had completely resolved :) Rest and drinking a LOT of water will help
