Hi ladies! Sorry I have been MIA! i'm back to work now, so things are even crazier. I'm sure it will get easier once we get our routine down but for now its a little crazy. Addilyn is 3 months old already. I can't believe how fast time has been flying by! Addilyn has been such a champ when it comes to sleeping at night. She'll sleep about 9 hours straight. I know it's bound to change any day now. Did your little ones go through the 4 month sleep regression? My friends keep telling me about it and I'm dreading it since our sleep right now is so nice!! Here's a recent pic :)

Hi Krista glad things are going well with you and your little one! Shes adorable!!

Chase went through the 4 month sleep regression but it wasnt every night that he was up, but now that were on month 7! Chase has been sleeping atleast 7-9 hours straight then will eat and go back to bed for another 2 hours or so then we will start our day! Some nights hell sleep for 10-11 hours if he doesnt nap good during the day. Hes still not a huge fan of eating and will just refuse some days but were still working on it. Hes now offically starting to teeth and so far hes doing ok with it. Hes also on the fast track to trying to crawl and i can tell already im going to be in trouble he wants to go all over the place just by scooting backwards!

Hope Addilyn skips the sleep regression! keep us posted!

Hi ladies. Happy belated mother's day!
Yes I have been giving Madisyn homemade baby food- I put the food in ice cub trays and freeze them so when I feed her I can defrost 1-2 cubes at a time.
Madi used to be a great sleeper, unfortunately her sleep progressively got worst around 5 months. We are now sleep training her and last night had our first straight night sleep (7pm-6am). I'm praying it sticks.
Madi is turning 8 months next week! She has been crawling all over the place for a while now and pulls herself up to a standing position. I have a strong feeling she'll be an early walker. Her naps have gotten better, thank goodness for that.
Shes currently going through the clingy phase and screams if shes left in a room by herself.
I'm still BF- last week got my period for the first time. I was excited because it was a "normal" period, but of course it hasn't come back. :/ I took a test and I'm not pregnant, but it seems like I'm back to long cycles like before ttc. I'm hoping that once I stop BF my period will go back to normal. I decided against taking the pill again and hubby and I have been doing the "pull and pray" method of BC.
Hope you ladies and your beautiful babies are doing well! I'll try to upload a pic, but this site keeps saying my pics are too big.

So great to hear from you ladies. She's so cute!! So crazy that you have an 8 month old now. Seems like yesterday when we all got our BFPs! Thats a bummer about your period/cycles. I have a feeling that will happen to me too. I am on the mini pill right now, just to be extra safe. We are definitely not ready for #2 so I want to be as careful as I can! I'll probably go back on the full pill when I stop breastfeeding. I'm not sure when that time will come, but my freezer stash is slowly dwindling and I don't seem to be pumping enough while i'm at work :( It's getting pretty stressful. I think I may try to take some fenugreek and see if that helps boost my supply so I can at least pump enough at work to cover what she is eating throughout the day with my mom. She's still a champ and sleeping during the night. 7-8pm to 5am. Shell be 4 months next week. it is SO amazing to watch her grow and learn. She's holding on to toys now, she found her feet, and she gives us giggles! it makes my heart so happy to see her smile and laugh. No teeth yet, but I swear by the amount she is drooling and gnawing on her hand, it's gotta be soon! Here is a recent picture of her that i had done the other day.

Hope all is well with you and Chase, Isis!

He still sleeps from 7-8pm -5-6am he has a few nights a week woken up himself but will go right back to bed, i try to just let him put himself back instead of going in, if i go in he cries! ha Other then that hes growing so quickly i cant believe it, he has 2 bottom teeth as well. Cant believe our babies are getting soo big!

Hey! We're doing good over here! Addi is 5 months old now. So close to sitting on her own, but not yet. No teeth, but drooling like crazy! We transitioned into the crib recently and that is a little hard on her, she's up a few times a night now. Still breastfeeding and supplementing with a little formula each day, I just don't seem to make enough for her growing appetite these days!

Hope all is well for you ladies!

My husband and I are going to start TTC next month (April). I've been on birth control pills for 12 years. I know the month you stop all the medication is out of your system, but it can take time for women to get back on a normal cycle. I am taking my last pack now. How long did it take you or has it taken you to get your BFP after stopping birth control?

Hi Maria, it took me about a year to get pregnant after I stopped taking birth control, but that's because I found out I had PCOS. Once I began treatment for my PCOS, it took about three months to get pregnant. I hope everything goes smoothly for you! My only advice is to track your cycles when you are done taking your last pill pack. Use Fertility Friend app or something similar. I also took my temp every morning in order to confirm if/when ovulation happened. Once I had a handle on my cycle, getting pregnant only took a few months. Good Luck!!!

Hi Maria, i was on bc for 9 years it took me a year to conceive i never got my cycle on its own after i stopped and need medication called provera to induce cycles, after a year we stopped trying to plan our wedding the next month we got pregnant on a provera induced cycle, good thing i ovulated on my own! I used ovulation strips i got off ebay to cheap my ovulation.

Just starting the process of switching im to whole milk, hes doing so good medical wise as well we couldnt be happier! :)He's pretty much walking these days too, his personality is so funny as you can see in the picture! ha

Hi ladies,

Sorry for being MIA. Your babies are beyond adorable! I actually thought about you ladies last night. I was reading over some emails that I wrote to our future baby when we first started ttc and I remember how tough that time was. It was crazy to think how much has changed. It reminded me just how thankful I am for Madisyn!
Madi turned 1 last month and I'm loving this stage. She is walking everywhere, talking up a storm and mimicking everything Mike and I do. She transitioned nicely from BM to cow's milk. As of now, I only nurse her first thing in the AM and she has cow's milk the rest of the day. She is finally sleeping through the night-- goes down around 8pm and wakes up around 6am (sometimes she'll go back down after nursing until 7:30/8am).

Maria, it took me 1 year of conceive after stopping the pill. Similar to kflores I was diagnosed with PCO after stopping the pill and got pregnant shortly after I started metformin. Good luck!

I'm attaching a picture from Madi's 1st birthday party and Halloween (I re-used the birthday tutu as a halloween costume after hubby almost had a heart attack with how much money I spent on her birthday outfit) :)

Hi Ladies! Such cute pictures of your little ones! Must be crazy to think you have a one year old! Glad Chase is healthy and doing good and Madi looks so cute in her halloween/bday tutu!! How many bottles of milk does she get a day? I know around 1 year you're supposed to phase out the formula for cow milk, but not sure how many bottles that is... Addi is having 2-3 meals a day, but still has 5 or so bottles. Addi turned 9 months yesterday and is a crawling machine! she loves to pull herself up on anything and everything and has even let go for a few seconds too. Im guessing I could have an early walker on my hands! She has two teeth coming in on the bottom, but nothing on top yet. She still sleeps amazing, 1-2 naps a day and sleeps from 8pm-6:30am. I can't believe i'll be planning her 1st birthday here in just a few months!

Hi ladiess!! OMg your little girls are so adorable!! Time really does fly by Chase is now 14 months old and getting into everything, walking/running all over the place, talking like crazy, climbing on things and is getting a ton of new teeth(molars- ouch!) the last few weeks have been rough he got croup which isnt fun at all. Hes finally feeling better these days but still wakes up from being sick so im working on him sleeping through the night again. Today is his first time in a few wks he went down for a second nap, thank god! He goes to bed about 730-8pm and is up off and on but pretty much just cries or moves in his sleep i dont get up to get him unless i know that cry means he needs me. ha

Kflores youll get the hang of how much she needs in a bottle, ask your pedi how many oz she should have and food ect then you can plan around that, but once you get over the initial oz she should have you figure it out what works for you.

Chase has milk when he gets up, then an hr later breakfast then down for a nap about an hour or so after that he will sleep for hr-1/2 then we will get up and snack, then lunch and another milk, then i try a nap again around 2-230 right now hes been sleeping for 2 hours! yay! then he will get up get another snack then dinner around 530-6, then play. bath bottle bed..usually! ha

Any plans on more kids for you ladies?! i think id like 1 more but prob wont try for a while ha
