Thanks ladies, my fluff definitely is bigger in the evenings after i've eaten all day too! My doctor said one cup of coffee is okay as well, but still recommended that I wait till i'm in my 2nd trimester just to be safe. Anything for this little baby :) 5 more days till my ultrasound! I can barely contain my excitement!

Hi ladies appointment went the same as usual. Me and baby boy are measuring exactly where we should be, and so far ive put on 11 lbs total which is good since im pretty tiny to begin with. Im a little upset i don't get anymore u/s, ive only had 2!

My next appointment in 1 month will be the glucose test, and my 3rd trimester blood work..i can believe 1 more month and ill be in my 3rd tri, sooo crazy!

babydust didn't have you your glucose already? hope your results were good!

Kflores definitely keep us posted after you appointment Monday, and post a picture of that little bean!

That stinks you aren't getting another u/s, but at least that means your pregnancy is going smoothly.
I had a glucose test in the first trimester because of te metformin and I passed. Next week I have my second glucose test (the one that's typically done bet 24-28 weeks).
What week does the third trimester officially start? I keep hearing mixed info.

Im not sure when it actually starts, but since my dr scheduled me for my 28 wk appointment and stating ill also have my 3rd trimester labs done then i would think the 28th week?! i mean its 3 months each tri so it makes sense...but who knows.. ha

I just cant believe how much time is really going by so quick!!

Isis - so glad you appt went well! I'll definitely keep you ladies updated on Monday. My appt isn't until 2pm, so around 5pm your time? I'll probably update the next morning with a picture :) DH and I are SO excited and cannot wait. I keep getting nervous about it and fear that they won't be able to find baby. I'm sure these fears are normal and I keep trying to calm myself down and think positive. A lot of my symptoms have dissipated a bit so that is what makes me worry. I'm prone to worrying anyways so this is just awful for me.

I only get two u/s as well. One in the 1st Tri, which I have next week. And then my 20 week anatomy scan. Luckily we have a few places locally that do ultrasounds. For only $40 we can go in anytime and get a u/s done and get pictures, ect. So, we'll probably do that around 14/15 weeks for gender and then go back in my 30 week range to get a good 4D picture of the baby :)

Kflores the worries of your first u/s are normal, i had them too. Dont worry everything will be fine!

I wish it was only $40 here for an elective u/s anywhere but its wayy more then that out of pocket and DH doesnt want to spend that $ on a 3d/4d because of the price, i think its over $100 for that places ive found.

hope you both have a great weekend, supposed to be over 80 in MA..finally! :)

Good luck kflores! Your fears are completely normal! I felt the same exact way, and some of my symptoms would come and go too which drove me crazy. Even now at 25 weeks I feel like baby hasn't been as active the past few days and my mind begins to wonder and I have to bring it back and think positive.
It's so interesting that you gals only get 2 u/s. I feel like I've had so many, but I wonder if that's because my doctor had some concerns initially with my spotting. Kflores are you opting out of the NT scan? Because if you do the NT scan than you get 2 additional u/s.
I had a pretty busy weekend. We had a wedding on Saturday which was a 2hour drive away in traffic :/, plus pregnant and not able to drink. Thank goodness this is the only wedding I have to attend during this pregnancy.
On Sunday we spent the day on the beach with our best friends and their kids (including their 1.5 month old daughter). It was so weird holding her and thinking to myself that in a few months I'll be holding my own daughter. At one point she got fussy and I was alone with her, and it was a little nerve wrecking. When they are that little they look so fragile. I still don't think reality has fully kicked in that hubby and I are going to be parents. I'm beyond thrilled, but still in disbelief.

Thanks ladies, i'll update you later today after the ultrasound!!!

I think because i'm not considered high risk and haven't had any problems so far such as cramping or spotting/bleeding, they aren't treating me any different. I thought that since I have PCOS, i would be higher risk, but I guess not. DH and I haven't fully decided yet, but as of now I think we won't be doing the NT scan.

I'll only have one wedding to attend also, but it is in January so I will be very much prego and uncomfortable! Its also making it difficult to plan the baby shower. I started thinking about dates and since the craziness of the holidays, I'd want to have it in January, but that wedding is around the time i'd want to do it. So, I'll need to do more thinking! I don't want to have it too late and the baby come early.

Sounds like you had a great weekend babydust! We got to hang out with our friends who have a 10 week old and I was in baby heaven! It was awesome! Still crazy to think we'll actually be parents soon too!

Yea a January wedding will be tough. Is this a wedding you have to attend? I agree that you're probably better off doing your shower sometime in January (far enough away from the due date but after the holiday craze is over).

Well my husband is one of the groomsmen and they are pretty close friends to us, so i'd really like to attend the wedding. I guess we'll have to see how i'm feeling at that point.

oh ok, I thought maybe it was a more distant friend or family member. As long as the wedding isn't a long drive away you should be fine. I don't know how much fun you'll have, but at least you only have 1 wedding to attend during the pregnancy.
