Thanks Jeep Girl...yeah we've had our share of losses, it stinks! I know the feeling of wondering, even after seeing everything is fine. I have PTSD, so I know what it's like dealing with anxiety - it only adds to the stress. I wish I could say I've not been feeling pregnant. My ms just kicked in full force....I feel SOO pregnant. Starting to get a bit of a bump too...sigh, I'm going to be a cow. When is your appt this week? I'll be stalking!

Artemis - That is so awesome! Where do you guys live? I've always wanted a farm...I grew up on 10 acres in the woods - but my family never got into the farming thing, I think they're all just too lazy.lol My grandparents used to have farm animals and grow their own vegetables and stuff though - on the same land my parents live on. The land has been in our family for about 200+ years. Girl - it's hard to vacation with 2 cats and a dog - I can see how it'd be impossible with a FARM. I bet you guys save tons on the grocery bill too! Maybe a stupid question...but what are nongmo pigs?

Pink - Wow you have a wide range of ages when it comes to your kids! At least the older two can help with the younger two, I bet that comes in handy! Yeah that's what I hear, the grow up super fast. Heck, time just seems to fly right on by.

Skye- what a blessing to have land for that long in your family!!! Hoping it stays that way for 200+ more years :) No such thing as a stupid question!! We feed our pigs non-gmo feed, which is non genetically modified. GMOS have been altered via a laboratory, basically they make the plants DNa into something it's naturally not supposed to be for conventional purposes most of the time for it be increasing crop production and profit to the company. Research shows that consuming GMO products can cause harm over time to your body. If you go to http://www.nongmoproject.org you can find all the info you need if you're interested in learning more!!

I am so glad I found this feed!! I am currently 14 weeks with first baby, and I lost my full time job I've had for years a week and a half ago. It was a huge emotional blow! Hubby and I panicked at first, but we looked into collecting unemployment until we figured out what to do. Turns out like we might be able to have me SAH, which has secretly always be my dream, but it is going to be contingent on hubby getting a promotion in the new year (his supervisor is retiring in January ~supposedly~ and hubby is slated to replace him). There is a lot of "ifs" and IF it happens, it will happen the same month I am due! The unemployment should keep us comfortable until the IFs pan out. Part of the requirements is to actively seek employment, but really who wants to hire someone 4.5 months pregnant! So even though I don't want to find a job (yet) I am being really picky on where I apply...and I already have 2 interviews next week! It sure is nice to feel wanted, but I really am hoping to SAH.

Sorry for the long post-- I could go on and on about my fears about SAH, combining finances (currently separate accounts), being financially dependent on hubby, losing my identity, etc. it sure is nice to know we aren't alone in this transition and the concerns that come with it!

Fingers crossed that my job loss was a blessing in disguise!
