I need help picking a stroller!

Postby Yaybaby88 » Mon Jul 13, 2015 6:39 pm

So I thought I was set on the britax-b agile travel system... But I went to the store to try it out and the car seat felt too heavy. Now I'm looking at the Chico bravo travel system or the graco fast action fold sport travel system. What have you guys bought at why? Or do you already own one of these and what do you like about it? I'm so torn and I need to decide by this week since my mom wants to buy it for us before our shower that is next week.

I still need to go to the store to check some out for my own purpose, but Consumer Reports has been great in helping me find good products (I'll nab a photo and share it below) and BabyGearLab has awesome reviews of most major baby products at http://www.babygearlab.com/

I got the chicco bravo in Lilla and so far love it. Baby isn't born yet, but the stroller can handle my 4 yr old well and is way lighter than the strollers i had with my older girls which were graco and safety 1st. Dh and I are tall and I love that the handles are adjustable. I also felt that it handles a lot easier than some of the other strollers I tested out.

Yay that's good to know... We just ordered the chicco bravo. It seemed to be a bit easier to handle than the others I tested out.

My DH has a back injury so we needed to find something really light. I did a little research and one of the lightest travel systems on the market is the Graco LightRider stroller/SnugRide classic connect carseat combination. My mom bought us a very nice $224 travel system we had to return because it was too heavy and we just ordered the combination above. They have it at Walmart for about $180 depending on which color you get. The SnugRide carseat is only 7.5 lbs (classic connect) without the base and I believe the stroller is only about 17 lbs which is light compared to most. Even if you don't have a back injury to worry about, I think it would be a good idea to get one as light as possible because you will be wresting with that thing for awhile!
