Baby Bump... but not really.

Postby DandNBaby » Fri Aug 28, 2015 12:05 am

I'm 18 weeks pregnant! (Almost half way there) :)
So I've noticed that whenever I eat I get like a 30 weeks pregnant bump (that is obviously not a real bump due to its size and location [Had a U/S earlier this week and they they were practically in my bladder area).
When it's not from food there's the tiniest bump ever.
It's awkard for me since I'm surrounded with women at work who're like 38 weeks pregnant and have the cutest little baby bump.

Is that a pregnancy thing? because I don't recall having that after meals before I was pregnant.
Anyone else having food babies whenever she eats? :pregnant:

Where your baby is growing causes your intestines and stomach to kind of squish together up a little higher than they normally sit. My guess would be your real baby bump is taking up all the space your digestive system normally takes up, so when you eat, you get a food baby up higher. It happens to me a bit (I'm 19 weeks). My baby bump is anything but cute, I just look a little bit like I have a beer belly :P
