How long does the "crappy feeling" last??

Postby ksi0512 » Sat Dec 05, 2015 5:56 pm

I'm 11DPO and got my BFP yesterday. I'm about 3 weeks 5 days. And I feel like crap haha. Bad headache, upset stomach and NOT hungry, just feel flu-ish.

I'm just curious how long others experienced this for? I need to mentally prepare myself haha.

Congratulations!

Unfortunately there's no real good timetable. I felt somewhat hungover on and off after my BFP around 2 weeks dpo. The nausea was what clued me in to POAS. It came and went for quite some time, and finally calmed down for sure around 14 weeks. The worst of it was motion sickness that lasted until around 20 weeks.

But everyone is totally different. Some women in my DDC never felt much of anything, just tired. Others felt like you and I did at the beginning, and morphed into full-blown morning sickness every day. It's all so variable. My best advice is to stay hydrated and get plenty of rest; both of those will help keep your symptoms as manageable as possible.

That's what I was afraid of, haha. At least I can mentally prepare myself! :)
