What do you think about this name?

we have a Rhett and we have a Margaret (but we call her Maisie)

I need to find name options that are different but kinda in the genre of kinda familiar. lol I know, its' hard to explain! and that 's what makes names So hard for us! I love a lot of the top 100 names out there but I don't want a name that is common (I am a Jessica and I admit I have deep issues with my 1980's #1 popular name ;) )

A name I am mulling around is Edith for a girl. we would call her 9and not sure how one would spell that but phonetically)- E-Dee. I had a E-Dee next to my house growing up and she was a total sweet heart.

So- what do you think? Would that fit with my other kids names?

And as for a boy.. lol we are lost!

So yeah, what do you think and if you have any ideas - throw um out there!

I did have an "Edith" for my Grammie, but that honestly does not prejudice me against it! I love old fashioned names, and I think it works well for your family. My other grandmother was named "Evelyn" which I like a bit better, but that is also more common these days.

I love Edie as well! So cute and unique!

As a Michelle I totally understand what you mean about unusual names. Nothing too out there, just fun and different.

For a boy what about:

- Sawyer
- Hayes
- Finn
- Cashel (Cash) - it's an Irish name
- Eamonn
- Ellis
- Davis

Good luck and KUP!
