Really sweet girly names?

Postby smouse77 » Tue Apr 19, 2011 12:11 pm

I am in search of really sweet, girly names. My DS name is Gabriel (Gabe). Our last name starts with P (similar to Palin).
DS has soft curly blonde hair, chances are high she will be blonde too.

So far I like the names...

Paisley (really like this one, but my mom hates it!)
Anabelle (love the ability of having a nickname)
Ella (grandmothers name is Elenora)

What do you think of the names above? Any opinions would be great, negative or positive.

I like all the names you posted. If your mom doesn't like paisly, what about something similar like Ainsley?

I'm partial to Vivian. ;) My niece is Isla, that's a sweet name I think.

Love your names! I like Ella the best. My dd is Lily, when I named her i was searching for something very feminine and I thought that fit.

I have an Evelyn and I think it's super girly. We call her "Evie" for short. Her middle name is Louise, and we also call her Evieloo. I just love her name!

If I have another girl, Ella is on my short list :)

I also like..

sorry but I really hate the name Paisley too :x Reading it makes me think of parsley and then thinking about it makes me think of argyle.

I like Anabelle and Ella, though! I think I like Anabelle a little more.

I also like Molly and Becca as sweet girly names.

What matters is what you and DH like the most!

If you don't want a super common name you might wanna check out the social security top names website. It lists the top names of every year. Ella is right near the top... Therefore, it's gonna be like a Jennifer or Sarah of our age group.
Not that it's a bad thing, but it will be that common. Just an FYI.

Im partial to Paisley, but that because it my DD name!! We spell is Paizlei because when I was pregnant people would ask if it was like the pattern or the country singer........but that didn't make me want to change the name, just the spelling

She is Paizlei Lulu, and I think it's sooooooo sweet!!
