Girl name vote!

Postby ThinkingAbout2 » Wed Oct 29, 2008 1:57 pm

So i think we've narrowed it down to carly/carlie but deciding on middle names.
DH feels like I have chosen both our son and daughters name now eventhough he agreed that he likes them. I thought i might let him choose the middle name and he blurted out "Rebecca."

I think that sounds nice actually but what is your vote and also for spelling. Carly with "Y" or Carlie with "ie".

Our other choices were/are Carly Renee and Carly Elizabeth
Last name is Gomez
My hubby's name is Charles and I think he's pushing for "Carlie" becaues it's a lot like "Charlie." LOL

I voted for Carly Rebecca. Elizabeth sounds good with it.. but i think it is more of a common middle name so that is why I didn't choose it. :) Rebecca is cute and I do not hear it much at all.

I def like "Carly" better than "Carlie" - it is the more common way to spell it and will cause her less trouble correcting the spelling down the road...
I voted Carly Renee Gomez b/c I think it sounds the best as a whole...I love the name Rebecca and my middle name is Elizabeth, but I think the 3-4 syllable middle name doesn't sound as nice...Carly Renee Gomez has a nice flow... :)

I voted Carly Renee.....mainly because it was going to be my baby's name.....then we changed it to Emily. If I ever have another girl, her name will be Carly....

Anyway, enough about me! LOL

Oh and I prefer Carly rather than Carlie.

Good luck!!
