Is tylenol totally safe?

Postby Emmo » Tue Apr 05, 2011 6:48 pm

I feel like crap. Achy, headache, blah. Is Tylenol really totally fine or should it only be taken for more significant issues like a fever?

I've heard it's safe if you take regular and not extra strength and take the recommended dosage.

Oh, and I also googled it before I replied b/c I didn't want to tell you wrong. Don't take ibuprophen or anything with NSAIDs.

The APA says Regular strength tylenol is safe when used in moderation... i have taken it twice this pregnancy already and still feel guilty but being pregnant and achy is no fun.

Emmo,
My headaches are horrible too. I almost think it makes my nausea worse. I was just on a four hour plane ride and I seriously didn't think I was going to make it. Aches, headache, nausea, all over discomfort.....I have had headaches a lot lately. I haven't taken anything yet, but I will take Tylenol if it becomes unbareble.
