Symptoms coming and going?

Postby kayemjay1 » Wed Apr 01, 2015 2:12 pm

Hey all- I'm currently 7 weeks 3 days along, and since about 5.5 weeks, I've been nauseous round the clock. Yesterday and today, however, my nausea has been markedly less. Is this normal? As much as I hated the nausea, it was at least reassuring! My breasts are still tender to the touch and much bigger (I've already gone up a cup size!), and I haven't had any spotting, just the usual weird twinges.

My symptoms came and went. Some of them disappeared altogether by about 8 weeks. I got so freaked out about not having many (if any) symptoms, I bought a fetal doppler so I could check baby's heartrate at home to reassure myself. But, everything has been fine so far with all of my scans, and baby is growing and doing well. It's impossible not to worry, but just know that everything is probably fine :)

Thank you so much! That makes me feel a bit better. It's so hard not to worry over every symptom (or lack thereof), it's driving me crazy!

I'm curious about the home dopplers- how far along were you before you could hear the heartbeat with it?

Your HCG levels off at around 10-13 weeks, and when that happens symptoms will go away, mostly. Leading up to that point you may have moments of symptoms just poofing, haha but with me, they come back in a few days. Where i am at now, I get a symptom maybe once a week? If that lol.

I didn't get mine until I was about 9 weeks, and I could hear the heartbeat then. I just had to search a bit, and push the wand in and down since my uterus was still so far down. I got the Sonoline B, and I swear it's better than my OB's is!
