Interesting, my mother is A-, I am A+, She had awesome pregnancies but also had to get the rhogam shots with hers.

I have heard a magnisium deficiency not corrected before pregnancy can lead to morning sickness as well.

So far no issues with me. I only had a little morning sickness in the evenings back in 2010 but that pregnancy didnt go far.

Hoping to have a good one! I hope you guys get some relief.

Yes, Tange, I've heard that as well, also that once you are pregnant, your body doesn't absorb it as well through digestion. I'm putting all the info I can into my arsenal so I can at least attempt to have an easier next pregnancy!

I got to 5 weeks 6 days without a touch of nausea, then it hit me like a freight train and I was at urgent care needing fluids and meds within 4 days. I hope for your sake that you get it easy!

AH I do too!

I have no clue how and if I managed not to have a lack of mag. I would think I would cause im all reccessive genes lol I never got sick in 2010. Just motion sickness in the afternoons and some dry heaving from time to time. I know I got past 7 weeks but not sure if I made it to 12. Ill have to look. All I had was sore boobs a craving for avocado, dreams about beer and I would wake up hungry in the night. I also craved water and I hate water lol

Hopefully your next one is smoother. Do you have a plan to try to have them so far apart?

No real plan yet... But I want to get into better shape and load up on certain vitimins before even trying again. I want to get as healthy as possible and see if that helps at all! If not, we might stop at 2 lol.

I figured we'd put a few years between kids, but found out recently hubby wants them close in age. He said, "Wouldn't you rather just get it over with as quickly as possible?" I just stared at him, as this convo took place on a trip home from the hospital after 5 hours in the ER. Part of me agrees with him, part of me wants a big long break!

I have always wanted 3 and have them 3 years apart. With my back issues and everything I also want to stop having babies around 35 cause I know im going to be an old old person lol. I could squeek in that plan if I still wanted to.

My sister and I are 22 months apart and that worked out pretty well. We are close now and were as kids but we fought.

When I worked at the womens clinic I was told it takes a woman 3 years to fully recover from pregnancy even though outwardly it seems faster. So i think thats where I got the 3 years from. Plus I want one to be potty trained and able to feed itself before I start again lol.

I wanted to lose a little weight before I got pregnant. Be more healthy. I feel vitamin wise since I have been taking prenatals for months before conceiving Im good there. Probably could be better lol.

Being a healthy mom is really important so I get you there. I think you wont know when you want the next till after you have had the first. We may want one sooner or later etc. I just like to have them so they fall within a single year of ins billing.

I'm almost 6 weeks and just got some morning sickness today. What is worse for me at the moment is the very painful throbbing headache . I am blood type A+ and DH is A- I have not heard of this blood type theory

I have bad reactions to the estrogen in the combined pill before (vomiting severe, severe headaches, bed ridden for days) so hoping I do not react this way to the rising level of estrogen in pregnancy

Does anyone know if estrogen plays a role in HG? So nervous I won't be able to finish this year of my studies which is really important because i have clinical placements

I have never heard of estrogen playing a role on HG, but since no one has many answers about it, I suppose it's possible.

I think A+ and A- would be compatible, as the baby is likely to have an A blood type. The + or - doesn't seem to affect other conditions I've read about that are affected by blood type, but I'm not 100% sure.

Hopefully you just have morning sickness and in about 6 weeks, you'll wake up one day feeling great! (Or even sooner). HG is knock-you-on-your-back-for-days severe, like having food poisoning for months straight. It'a not super common, so hopefully you fall into the regular category of ms and feel better soon!

in 4 weeks about and my morning sickness feels more like that "swallowing back" feeling, haven't vomitted yet but when I burp, sorry, it's wet..yuck. And I feel so hungover for the past few days. Like I drank 3 bottles of wine the night before. Dizzy/foggy headed, thirsty, starving but when I eat my appetite vanishes, and another TMI tidbit..constipation that turns into diarrhea off and on. I'm physically exhausted like I've ran a marathon. It's crazy that this is happening this early!

Hey artemis. Physical exhaustion is probably one of my main symptoms. As well as a dizzy/light headed feeling. I'm finding it hard being like this because you really can't tell too many people or explain why you are not as active as you were before!

Thanks BeeCee! Sometimes I think if I am going to be pregnant, I want to BE pregnant (as in feel the baby, see the baby, have a bump etc, all the trimmings). Guess I just have to be patient :)

Trust me, I know what you mean all too well! And when you get to that point, it's so worth it. I love feeling my little guy flip and kick. I was expecting all of that a lot earlier than it actually came. It was a LONG wait, especially when others in my ddc looked pregnant and felt movement way before I did. I finally got a tiny belly at 19 weeks. I felt like I was waiting forever but now in hindsight, it's all gone so fast and the end is rapidly approaching!
