Finally pregnant

After 5 years on & off of ttc. I couldn't believe it I took 5 at home tests & went to the dr to confirm. Dr believes I'm 7 weeks, waiting on blood work & have a ultrasound in a week. So excited! This is my first

Thanks blood work said 6-8 weeks I have a ultrasound friday. I'm super nauseated certain smells bother me

Quick question - can blood work tell you how pregnant you are? Do you think it's a necessary part of the pregnancy process?
