spotting?

Postby Liza24 » Thu Oct 15, 2015 5:23 am

Anyone have light pink spotting around 7 weeks?

I had a internal exam Monday, no spotting, nothing Tuesday. But noticed it last night it was dark pink, only when I wiped. Today It is light pink and hardly there but I'm freaked  . I did call the on call doc but so far no call back. light, dull cramping in my right side, but nothing major.

I had some light brown spotting that's pretty much faded. Have you had an ultrasound yet? From what I've been told it can be very normal. The only thing to watch out for is if you have intense pain on one side. If the pain gets much worse, I'd definitely get checked out. It's probably nothing though... best wishes

Went into the ER after talking to my OB.

They did a u/s and baby was measuring 6w4d, which would coinside with my O date, not my LMP. Heartbeat was 120's and good. Seems it was related to BM's? I guess having a BM is making my cervix mad from the pressure cause its only spotting after a BM. Hopefully it will go away after a while!

Hi there. With my daughter I bled until I was 13 weeks. A little spotting that's dark is ok. I'd have them check your progesterone levels. I was on supplements with my daughter until 13 weeks to keep my levels high.

I had spotting through week 13, with a final diagnosis of a cervical polyp which was removed and I stopped spotting almost immediately. I only bled while on the toilet, never in my underwear, and was told it was due to the nature of the polyp & cervix simply getting more tender and blood flow due to pregnancy. This can then be triggered on the toilet from any & all muscles you're using while going to the bathroom! Very frustrating, and can definitely be scary. Spotting isn't "normal" per se, but it's also nowhere near unusual and the vast majority of women go on to have perfectly healthy pregnancies :)

Yup! I spotted during week 7 and week 11! These lined up exactly with the times when my regular period would have come. So I guess for me my body is just really set on bleeding monthly no matter what. The spotting was very light mostly. Started light pink, then one small gush of bright red, then it was brown for a few days and that was it. First time I freaked out and went in for an early ultrasound. This last time I wasn't too concerned. I've heard breakthrough bleeding can be common and is fine as long as it's not much blood and not accompanied by cramps or other miscarriage symptoms.

It has seemed to ease up as I have added vitamin B6 to my day, and changed my prenatal vitamins. Now I'm just getting the normal slight cramping from time to time, still tired lol

I spotted yesterday (8w3d). I wasn't too freaked out - it was just a layer of pink when I wiped. I told myself that I'd wait to freak out to at least the next day and see if I actually gush red. Luckily, I've seen nothing today, so hopefully it's just a random incidence.

Also, don't know if y'all share these symptoms - but yesterday, my breasts were ultra sore (like feeling bruised without pressing on it) and feeling very constipated. I'm still feeling crampy and slight soreness in the lower abs. I hope this is just the baby stretching out and nothing else to worry about. If any of you had experienced something similar but is now passed week 8, please share and give me a piece of mind!
