Fetal heart rate at 10 weeks

Postby beccam29 » Wed Feb 10, 2016 5:38 pm

Hey ladies,
Just looking to hear your stories! My daughters heart rate was ALWAYS in the 140s, from 8 weeks on. (Around 110 at 6 weeks).
This pregnancy, the baby's heart rate has literally been 170 since 6 weeks. I'm now 10 weeks. Comparing to my last pregnancy, do you think this could mean I'm having a boy this time with the very different heart rates?

Boys are suppose to actually have a lower heartrate than girls. From what I have read, if you are trying to use the heartrate to guess the gender below 140 is boy and above 140 is girl. My little one has always been right at the 140 mark so he or she isn't giving me any good clues :)
