Shocked to be pregnant!

Postby Jessicanscott » Fri Jun 17, 2016 8:39 pm

Hi, my name is Jessica. My husband and I have been ntnp since the birth of our first son in December 2015. When I got pregnant with him I was tracking religiously and I had been on 3 rounds of clomid. I tested today with a FRER and immediately got a faint positive line. It looks just like the line did when I was 10dpo with my son. I'm so confused as to how far along I could be because the last time we DTD was June 2nd, 15 days ago. If my line is only as dark as a 10dpo line I feel like either I ovulated 5 days after the last time we DTD or maybe I'm having a chemical. I don't have nearly as many symptoms as I did with my son. I did notice slightly sore boobs a little while ago but they came and went and now feel pretty much normal. I have been a little but more hungry and thirsty than usual. Other than that, the only reason I tested is because my son wasn't wanting to nurse. He's never done this before. I read that sometimes being pregnant can make them not like it so I tested on a whim, watched the pee go through the window and saw that little line show up! I am sooooo happy right now but at the same time so shocked and nervous. I plan to tell my husband on Father's Day and make a doctors appointment once I see that the line has progressed. Anyway, sorry my story is so long. I'm glad to be here and to get to know you ladies!

Hi Jess, I remember you from Dec 2015 ddc :)

Fiona also stopped wanting to nurse as much. If I pump and bottle-feed breast milk she eats it just fine though. Congratulations!
