Did anyone else not miss their first period?

Postby TeamSmizznoeBaby » Mon Feb 27, 2017 3:01 pm

I got a BFP on Saturday after missing my period last week. But I know the only day I could have conceived was January 15. I went on to have what I thought was a full normal period on January 24. It was my first time using a menstrual cup so I didn't have much to compare it too, but it seemed like my regular flow.

I got a strong BFP on 2/24 because I missed my period, which was supposed to start 2/22. I thought for sure it was going to be negative and that there is something wrong with me to have such a late period. But it was a strong fast positive! I am still nursing my 13 month old son, which may have affected something, but I don't know what!

Just wondering if I should be worried about that bleeding or not. I have an ultrasound and appt with my OBGYN on Friday. Hoping to see my little baby and HB!

Hi, this has never happened to me but I think it's really common. A lot of women experience implantation bleeding or even just normal bleeding during the first trimester. If you haven't had any bleeding since your "period" then I wouldn't worry at all. Congratulations!
