I voted Jake, because I love that name :) I agree that boys names are most definately harder than girls. I am having trouble with my boy list that's for sure :? As for the name teasing thing - I could honestly give a toss what anyone else thinks of the names I have chosen. Every single name can be twisted into something else and the person can be teased. As long as you are happy with it momma that's all that matters, screw everyone else ;)

Thanks laura. i know i should care but i kinda do lol.. i was teased as a little kid, smelly elly and was called fat and i hated it.. i dont want my kids to go through that.. because of the name calling (from boys only) i ended up beating them up ALL the time lol surprisingly i had more fights with males then i did females (only ever one fight with a girl) I know it will happen regardless but i dont want to pick a name that can add more teasing to my kids.

Even tho DF picked the name jake he still says things like jake the fake or jake the muss (from once were warriors lol) but they arent that bad.

If you were teased, I can see how you might like Jack for your child. Are Jackson and Jake your only options right now.

We had a horrible time thinking of boys name for our first two. Thankfully they were girls. This time, we got it quickly. We've never been able to get a boy's name we like so I'm thinking it might be a boy LOL. DH wants a boy so bad, but says as long as it's healthy he doesn't care.

I was going to say exactly this... i dont like just Jake for a name but Jacob would sound better. jake for short.. Love both names though.. I like Jackson better than Jaxon.. It just looks odd spelled that way. maybe cause i know a couple Jackson's and they arent spelled that way its the traditonal way. good luck!

mommyslittlemnster wrote:My first thought was Jacob Craig sounds a lot better then you can just use Jake as a nickname. Jaxon has become SO popular this past year and I'm a little more traditional so I would spell it Jackson.

Our Names now are either Jake (Jakob) or Hunter. Craig will be the middle name.. i personally like hunter best out of the two.
