Down's syndrome, also known as trisomy 21, is a genetic disorder caused by the presence of all or part of a third copy of chromosome 21. This syndrome can be detected during pregnancy or after the birth of the child. The diagnosis of this syndrome during pregnancy can be done through two types of tests. One is a prenatal screening test and the other a prenatal diagnostic test.

NACE (non-invasive prenatal test) test is 100% safe for you and your baby. It is as simple as a routine blood analysis. A small blood sample taken from the arm that is sufficient to run the test. NACE test is a new type of genetic test that screens for birth defects and inherited diseases. The NACE is to detect birth defects such as Down syndrome, chromosome abnormalities, genetic disorders.

I'm glad you shared your story! It'll be a relief for many women who may be experiencing something similar and who are probably freaking out. You are an example where the odds seemed high, but additional tests showed that the odds are actually fine.

Thanks for sharing!
