Head butting ?

Postby peachy » Wed Sep 24, 2014 1:28 pm

At work I started having pains. Feels like my cervix is being headbutted hard. It vibrated and it went on relentlessly so I had to lean over the desk with elbows on desk and let my belly hang low. About 3 minutes swinging my hips to try to move the baby away from the cervix. I think it worked, the pain went away. I sat down then 18 minutes later I felt rhythmic vibrating, hiccups? Then shuddering. And more headbutting again with burrowing feeling so again I had to lean over the desk to dislodge the baby. He/she is head first position.
I remembered a while back I had that pain and went to the nurse, hb normal and all was fine. That was weeks ago and I wonder if that was also head butting?
Anyone going through that? It dang hurts! I'm 20 weeks 4 days.

As of this week I have had some weird pain on the right side, on top of my pubic bone (like the skin over it) and my cervix.

I wonder if baby is in there doing something weird or if its just my body.

Oooh that's your baby. Could be kicking or punching against it. Is your baby head first?
It's painful when the baby gets active. It's opposite of my son, I barely felt him the whole pregnancy except his hiccups at 9th months, I used them as kick counts.

I was thinking it could be him but I don't feel any movement yet. Last scan he was head down but he has enough room to roll around so the tech said it can change all the time.

It's so painful right now. Makes me cry. I had to lean over the desk and swing my hips. I walked and I stretched. I feel lots of pulling. After that episode passes I feel the baby kicking. I wonder if it's the ligaments. Or the baby stretching, it's just a weird excruciatingly painful sensation. It's both sides of my belly button sometimes lower. Since yesterday and comes and goes. The baby's pretty active and I wonder if it hurts more since the baby is growing fast and making the uterus stretch more?

I wonder....

Sometimes for me it feels like he is stretching as far as he can and pushing on both sides of my uterus. It's like a pinchy stretchy feeling and usually sharp.

Peachy could what you be feeling be Braxton hicks contractions? Have you ever experienced them before? I'm just wondering bc I've never experienced any of babies movements or stretching to be that painful. I hope you find something that gives you some relief though...that sounds quite miserable.

I have these occasional sharper kind of cervical pains. My baby is breech right now and it feels as if she's kicking on my cervix sometimes. It can be super uncomfortable and there's not much I can do but wait for it to pass.
