Sea kayaking at 19 weeks

The affectionately named "honeymoon trimester". Your belly is getting bigger and you start to feel your first baby kicks. Are you having a boy or a girl?

Sea kayaking at 19 weeks

Postby kittypie » Fri Jan 30, 2015 12:51 pm

Hey guys, we are heading to new Zealand (bay of islands) for a week and plan to go sea kayaking, but I was wondering about the logistics of actually fitting in a sea kayak with a belly, it is my first and I am barely showing/still wearing my normal clothes that are a bit tight at 14 weeks.

Does anyone have any experience with this particular scenario?

At 19 weeks it wouldn't have been any problem at all for me. I was still not really even showing by then. Now, at 29 weeks, it's hard to even put my socks on!
