question

The affectionately named "honeymoon trimester". Your belly is getting bigger and you start to feel your first baby kicks. Are you having a boy or a girl?

Waddling in pain with the sciatic and being super uncomfortable with pressure is no way to go grocery shopping. Booo lol I find now if I am walking around at a store my hip starts to kill, I get the shooting pain down to my knee now and now pressure on the bottom of my stomach. Anyone else? Only 26 weeks. Normal? Thanks!

I don't think it's normal for everyone, but it seems to be normal for me. It freaking sucks and I'm sorry you're going through it. I'm so excited to deliver this kid to get it to stop. The crazy support belts help me. So does the chiropractor.

I'm only 17 weeks and I've been experiencing sciatic nerve pain for a few weeks now. It hasn't become debilitating yet, but I'm assuming it will get worse as I get bigger!

I saw an infomercial yesterday for a brace that puts pressure on a pressure point behind the knee that supposedly makes sciatic pain go away imidiately. It claimed it was great for pregnant women and the elderly lol. I can't remember what it's called now, but I wonder if it works?

I have AWFUL sciatica and RLP. I bought a belly brace off amazon which helps with the RLP but nothing helps with the sciatica. I had it lightly at like 10 weeks which my doctor thought was crazy but it's just gotten worse and worse. If I sit for too long, I can't stand or walk around. If you find a solution, post it!!

I have NO clue if this actually works, but this is the brace I saw that supposedly helps with sciatica: http://www.amazon.com/BeACTIVE-Acupress ... B00NZ9M4SO

A ciropractor who deals with prnatal care can help but they also have a lot of yoga that works to release the nerves.

My sister had horrible back pain and she ended up buying (and LOVING) two belly braces from Motherhood Maternity - she had one "stiff" one for work and then a lighter one to change in to when she got home. She said it was a lifesaver!
