Hi Kelbri! I'm sorry for you're thirst, I know well how it feels. I've been sooo thirsty since before my bfp. I drink 4 or 5 litres of water every day and thirst seems never to go away. I wake up at night to pee and drink when I wake. I was worried that it could be due to diabetes but my first bloodwork results were fine. I will get the results of my second next week and hope they're fine. Possibly, my thirst is due or worsened by the fact that I am very warm and have heavy night swears since the very first days I got pregnant. I was told to pay attention and tell ob if although drinking I don't pee or if pee is dark.

Hi! I know I'm a month late to reply to this, but I have a nickname/joke for my baby. I call him/her a fish. Because I can literally never get enough water. No other drinks satisfy me either. I'm 19w5 days and I drink bottle after bottle after bottle. It helps me to drink it colder, as it seems more satisfying. I also learned that despite the amount I was drinking I was still slightly dehydrated. My OB says it's for a few reasons. Normally you need 8 glasses of 8 ounce water, as a pregnant woman you want 16-20 glasses. But of you are overweight (like me) you must also account for your bodies needs. And I need more water. But anyway, enough blabbing! Keep that water bottle close and enjoy the water! It really help keep water retention and swelling down!

Hi ladies! the reason why you are so thirsty all the time is because of the increase in blood. You make more blood when pregnant for the baby and an increase in blood flow makes you super thirsty. Before I got pregnant I maybe drank a glass of water a day and now I drink over a gallon and if I don't then I get dehydrated. So keep hydrated or you might start feeling sick again.
