return of morning sickness - normal?

Postby aimala00 » Tue Jan 25, 2011 10:22 am

Ladies - help me? The past week or so I've had a return of "morning" sickness. It lasts all day and is especially bad at night (evening time through bed time). Yesterday and today it's been REALLY bad.

Is this normal? My first trimester queasiness pretty much vanished right when I hit 13 weeks. Since then I haven't felt nauseous at all. I'm just worried as a first time mama. I don't think it's a stomach bug b/c it really feels just like I felt in my first tri and my daughter and hubs haven't had any tummy bugs they've brought home.

I have an OB standard 2 week check up on Thursday and will also ask my dr then.

I think it's perfectly normal. I've had it return off and on the past couple of weeks too, and it's worse at night, like yours. I have a feeling as things get more squished in there, there's less room for digesting food, and that can easily translate to queasiness.

I hope you feel better soon but I really don't think it's anything to worry about... and that's coming from a giant worry wort!

I agree it's normal. I went maybe 2 weeks straight this entire pregancy not being sick. I've always been told that morning sickness is a good thing although it makes us miserable!

Same thing has happened to me...and my constipation returned too (tmi) and Dr said they are quite possibly linked! Not sure how you're doing in that area....lol

Me too. Just quick bouts but when they do strike it worse then my ms during the first tri. Seems pretty common.

I've heard that this does happen to some women. I didn't have it with my first, but the last couple of days, I have been sensitive to smells, much like the beginning of my first tri. Yuck! But, normal, I guess.
