Did it put you into labor? Yup! Had it done at 9 am, contractions started at 8:30 that night.
Did it hurt? Yes. But not really bad. It's tolerable for the length of time it's being done
Did you lose your mucus plug? Yes, what was left of it.
How many weeks were you? 39 Weeks 6 Days was the real date, but due to the measurements they had me at 40 Weeks 6 Days. [/b]

I had it done w/ my daughter at my 38 week appt. It hurt extremely bad but I guess it worked. I cramped the rest of the day and ended up being admitted to the hosp. the next day. I wish I hadn't got it done and just tried to my enjoy being pregnant a few weeks longer and not trying to cause labor. My daughter was 6 lbs I feel if I hadn't had the membrane sweep and been pregnant for a few more weeks she would have been a bigger baby. I won't be getting it done this time around for those reasons.

Yeah, that's why I always tell people not to try natural induction until they're 40 weeks pregnant.

Did it put you into labor? NO
Did it hurt? uncomfortable...if comparing to labor I would rate it a 1
DId you lose your mucus plug? NO
How many weeks were you? 39 weeks 4 days

I don't think it works if your body isn't ready. I was dilated at about a 1-2 when I had it done. When I was induced 2 days later I was dilated to a 3.
