After sex question - pain...

Postby crysann4 » Tue Dec 06, 2011 5:30 pm

Ok ladies, I have a question. I thought I would ask it here first, before asking my doctor, because chances are it's normal. :p

It really hurts after I have sex. Specifically, after I have an orgasm. Is it because the baby moves position or something? Sex itself doesn't hurt - well, sometimes when I'm on top, and then I get the same feeling.

What it feels like is almost a tearing sensation in my lower abdomen, especially on the sides. It doesn't really feel like cramping, more like... well, the tearing sensation.

I am curious as to whether anyone else is experiencing this. I never did with any of my other babies.

I hurt during and after with this baby and my first one. It's especially painful after if I have the big O. Lots of sharp cramping and it's enough to make me regret doing it.

Sounds like round ligament pain. Does it hurt no matter what position you're in? Maybe try something where your legs aren't spread open wide, like doggie style, and see if that helps?
