Not long now Clairebear, I can't wait to see the photos and hear the birth story as well - super exciting.

I have heard using a birthing ball can help get things moving, other than that I think you are doing all the right things.

Great that your BFF will be there for the birth.

I have 8 weeks left at work now and they are dragging, I am mentally not here anymore and just can't be bothered lol. 11 weeks til baby is here is if I go til my due date.

Charley - I somehow managed to stay at work mentally til my last week. It was meant to be my second last week but when my mind left it I moved my date forward a week. I couldn't have done the extra week, it wouldn't have Been fair on me or work. Hope the time passes fast for you xx
Good to see you over here! Not long now

I was originally going to go off at 36 weeks, but then pushed it back a week and I reckon I could prob do til week 38 physically, but mentally I am done now lol.

I feel great at the moment, but wondering how long that will last as assuming I will start to feel something towards the end. x

Hopefully it'll wait til 37 weeks for me, at least then I won't be on trains and tubes.

Have you been going places since you have been on mat leave or just staying near home/the hospital?

I am thinking of driving to Kent when I am 38 weeks to see my family, which is an hour away but worried I could go into labour when driving - do you think I should just stay home?

An hr travel wouldn't bother me - I think you'd b fine to do that. Labour will probably take a lot longer then that anyway lol.
I've been staying home but it's mainly coz I've had stuff to do here.
We are planning to go to the zoo on Saturday and my edd is Sunday.

I might do it then otherwise I am going to be bored at home with no one to see. I do plan to do a massive clean out once I am off though and make sure all the babies bits are washed and put away.

Do you think you are going to be late?

Maybe they could get you in this week and they might say you are dilated at bit...

Do they do that in Oz? You are in Oz aren't you? The UK don't check for dilation until you are actually in labour but the US do.

Lol I'm curious to know how it's going in there but im still funny about having people looking Nd poking around down there. I'm ok with waiting for that. Figure I'll have too much going on when it's labour time to care much about that.

Just got an update from work - sounds like the place is falling apart without me! Bitter sweet. It'll be interesting to see what the situation is in 4-6 months when I get back. Sounds like I may end up in a whole new team

Yeah that's true, I don't think you will take much notice of what they are doing down there when you go into labour. I am so used to be poked about now after all the fertility treatment, it's like I have no shame left lol.

Good to know they are lost without you - nice to be needed. I am sorting out my maternity cover at the moment and worried she will be so good that they won't miss me.
