I am looking for a large one. I will need enough space to carry essentials for a toddler and a newborn. Any suggestions?

Jess- maybe a diaper bag backpack would work best for you. They are big, have the compartments like a diaper bag but free up your arms and you don't have to constantly keep pushing a shoulder strap up so you can do what you need to with baby and toddler.

Here us a GREAT website / slideshow that helped me narrow down all the options to one that would work best for us. This is our first kiddo, so we're getting a pricier one that is big enough for more than one kid AND can be reused for something more adult once the kids grow out of it.

I'm totally vain on this one and I am getting a coach diaper bag, it's practical enough for me right now and really selfishly I love that it looks like an oversized purse, I can't really justify it, it's purely for my own obsession with purses and bags :)

I sell 31 and I use the organizing utility tote....could also do the retro metro tote if you're looking for BIG or the casual cargo purse.....organizing utility tote has great pockets though for sippys and keys and stuff...

Here is my website...all those bags are monogrammable with babys name!!

If you want to splurge and buy a fancy designer one, the brand petunia pickle bottom has really nice designs and is high quality. They are called "boxy backpacks" and can be worn as a backpack or off the shoulder. The inside is compartmentalized well, roomy, and includes a wipes case and built in changing station in the front that is removable. Price ranges from $179-$250.
I ordered mine with an online coupon code for 10% off , got free shipping and no tax (if you are shipping outside California) from a website called design public.com. I'm sure you can also find a coupon code if you search online. Or amazon.com has a few of the designs for around $100 but I fell in love with a specific design and had to pay more.

We have Petunia Picklebottom boxy backpack that we just bought. We also have a JuJuBe BFF backpack. We love them both! We used to have a JuJuBe Be Prepared, but I wanted the backpack option. That one was a great bag, too.

I am also obsessed with purses and am getting a Kate Spade diaper bag. I really wanted one that did not look like a diaper bag...

Plus, I already have to haul a breast pump in a tote, so I figured I deserved something cute to carry. My husband is using an REI backpack

I'm a big Coach lover and highly contemplated getting a Coach diaper bag, but I convinced myself I didn't need to splurge. :) I did find this bag at Babies R Us and put it on my registry (and someone got it already, yay!): http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.js ... skn=305526. I like it because it looks like a purse and I can fit all her stuff in there, plus my essentials. :D

I am so chuffed with my new baby bag from http://www.baby-beau.com. I just wanted to share :-) I'm glad someone finally came out with stylish baby bags that are still practical. Image
